14. Finding Out The Gender

Jinyoung and I are waiting at the hospital for my next scan. I am now 19 weeks on in my pregnancy. We are not necessarily going to find out the gender today. We don't know weather we want to find out today but we'll just see how it goes. We've been waiting a while as we got there earlier than expected. We are excited as we can't wait to see our baby for the second time. "Can't wait to see your little one again" Jinyoung said. "Yep me too" I reply. Soon we get called into the room by the midwife. She starts examining me. Jinyoung sits close to me and holds my hand tight. The midwife chats to us as she was examining me. She's the same lady as last time and she's very nice. "I think I know what the gender is. It's a little girl" she said. "A girl? Wow!" Jinyoung replies. "Aawww I've always wanted a daughter. We didn't really want to know the gender just yet" I reply. "Oh sorry. I should've asked you. My fault" the lady said. "No it's fine. Don't worry. Maybe it's best we know" he said. We leave the hospital after my second scan went really well and we know the gender of our baby now. We couldn't decide weather we wanted to know but we do now. "I can't believe we are having a baby girl" Jinyoung said as we were leaving. "I now it's amazing. I'm happy she let it slip" I reply. "Yep me too" he replies. We are having a beautiful baby girl who we will love with all our heart

BamBam and I can't wait to find out the gender of our baby. Are we having a boy or a girl? Can't wait to find out. BamBam really wants it to be a boy but I told him I don't mind what the gender of our baby is. We are on our way to the hospital to find out now and we can't wait. "Will baby Bhuwakul be a boy or a girl?" BamBam said. "I don't know. We are about to find out soon" I reply. "Yes we are" he replies. Soon we pull up outside the hospital and check in. We wait in the waiting room excitedly and anxiously. We get called in my the sonographer and she greets us. We are going to ask if we can know the gender today. She looks closely at the screen and examines me. "Can we find out the gender today?" BamBam asks. "Yes you can. I'll tell you in a few minutes" she said. "Thanks" I reply. A few minutes later she said. "Congratulations. It's a boy". "Yessss a boy. We are having a son, baby" BamBam said. "We are. A boy. I knew you'd be so happy, Bammie" I reply. "I am. There's a mini me on the way. This kid is going to be just like his daddy" he said. "Yes he is" I reply. We leave the hospital feeling delighted to learn that we are having a baby boy. We are having a mini BamBam as he says. He was so overjoyed and I love seeing him that happy. We go back to my place to celebrate with some pizza. We are having a son

Jackson and I have been considering finding out the gender of our baby for a while. Well since I got pregnant really. I want a girl and he wants a boy but at the end of the day it doesn't matter what the gender of our child turns out to be. We woo love them all the same. We are laid in bed talking about baby things right now. "Baby, when do you want to find out the gender? I wanna know soon" Jackson said putting his hands on my hips. "Well when we go for my next scan in a couple of weeks" I reply. "Yeah, I can't wait to find out if our baby is a little boy or girl" he said. "I know, baby. Either would be amazing" I reply. "Yep maybe but I've always dreamed of having a son" Jackson replies. "I know you have but I'm sure you will be just as happy if we have a girl" I reply. "Yes of course I will, baby. I would love a little princess too" he smiles. "Awwww, Jackson. You're going to be a great daddy to our little one" I smile. "I just can't wait to be a dad. It's the greatest thing in this world" Jackson smiles before he kisses me. We went for my scan two weeks later to find out the gender of our baby. And we are having..... a girl. A little baby girl and we can't wait. Our little princess is on her way and we can't wait to meet her and hold her in our arms when she's born
