I wake up in a bright hospital room. I then see Steve and Sam sitting on the right side of my bed.

"On your left." I speak making them turn to me and they smile.

"Hey that is fun to say." I chuckle but then cough, my throat being extremely dry.

Steve hands me a glass of water.

"Thanks buddy." I rasp drinking it all feeling somewhat refreshed.

"How do you feel?" Sam asks.

"I could be better." I sigh and they both give me soft looks.

"Are you two okay?" I ask looking between the two men who nod.

"Sam can you give us a minute?" Steve asks and he nods getting up from his seat and leaves the room.

"You did it again." Steve says softly and I sigh.

"You can't help yourself can you?" He asks with a small smile.

"I wasn't going to be able to get out on my own. I made a call." I tell him and he looks down.

I reach out and ruffle his hair.

"But I'm here kid. Where'd you guys get me from anyways?" I ask as he moves his head away with a soft laugh.

"You were laying by the river. Didn't you swim there before you passed out?" He asks and I furrow my eyebrows slightly.

"No. I passed out right before I hit the water." I respond softly and he also looks confused.

"Anyways, where's Na-

The door suddenly opens.

"I got here as fast as I could." Natasha says walking into the room making a smile automatically come across my face.

Steve looks between the two women.

"I'm going to give you two some privacy." Steve says getting up from his seat and leaves.

Natasha walks over to my bed side.

"Hey." I smile.

"Hey. How do you feel?" She asks brushing hair out of my face.

"Like a million bucks." I smirk and she rolls her eyes playfully.

"You know, you scared us. We couldn't find you for a good while. Maria told us what your last command was." She says softly.

"I made a call." I say and she licks her lips.

"You tend to make quite a few of those recently." She says.

"Are you okay?" I ask changing the subject and she sighs.

"Yeah." She nods.

It then gets quiet.

"How are you? Really." She says and I sigh looking up at the ceiling.
