Ch 3

Germany

Loki fires his scepter at the elderly man but Captain America and Sergeant Brawns jump in front of the man, Cap's shield deflecting the beam and it hits Loki making him fall onto the ground.

"You know, the last time we were in Germany and saw a man standing above everyone else, we ended up disagreeing." Cap says.

"The soldiers." Loki speaks as he gets up.

"The man and woman out of time." He adds looking between us.

"We're not the ones out of time." Cap tells him.

The Quinjet then comes over behind us and a gun is revealed aiming at Loki.

"Loki, drop the weapon and stand down." Agent Romanoff speaks through the planes speaker.

Loki fires at the jet and it maneuvers hard to avoid it. I attack Loki with my shield and Cap joins as we fight against the weird magician. He fires at me knocking me back. Loki then knocks Cap's shield away and forces him down with his scepter.

"Kneel!" He spits.

"Not today." I say making him turn back to me.

I spin kick him in the face and Cap gets up continuing the fight.

A beam is then shot at Loki knocking him down making Steve and I turn to see a red and gold suit fly past us and over to Loki.

"Make a move reindeer games." He says and Loki's armor fades away as he raises his hands.

Cap and I walk over to Iron Man as the Quinjet starts to land.

"Mr.Stark." Steve greets.

"Captain." He says and turns to me.

"Sergeant." He says but I don't acknowledge it as I make my way to Loki grabbing him by the back of his neck taking him to the Quinjet.

I make him sit down as the two men follow. Loki is then handcuffed and strapped in the back of the plane by Romanoff.

"Thanks." She tells me referring to bringing Loki and all I do is nod as I take off my cowl and run a hand through my hair putting my aviators back on.

Steve also takes off his cowl and Stark does the same removing his helmet leaving the rest of his suit on. We then take off, Romanoff piloting the jet.

"I don't like it." Steve shakes his head.

"What? Rock of Ages giving up so easily?" Stark asks.

"I don't remember it being that easy. This guy packs a wallop." Steve turns back to look at Loki.

"Still, you two are pretty spry for older fellows. What's your thing? Pilates?" He asks and I raise an eyebrow confused from where I'm standing.

"What?" Steve asks.

"It's like calisthenics. You might have missed a couple things. Y'know, doing time as a Capsicle and Sargesicle." He explains looking between us.

"Fury didn't tell us he was calling you in." Steve tells him.

"Yeah, there's a lot of things Fury doesn't tell you." Stark says and I don't like that one bit.

A flash of lightening along with a roar of thunder brings me out of my thoughts.

"Where'd this come from?" Romanoff asks.

I walk over to the cockpit looking out the window taking off my aviators to get a look for myself.

Romanoff looks over and up at Barnes before she returns her attention to piloting the jet.

"What's the matter? Scared of a little lightening?" I hear Steve ask making me turn around and see Loki looking around then up to the sky, I put my glasses back on.

"I'm not overly fond of what follows." He responds.

A crash is then heard from above the plane meaning something has landed. We all look up wondering what that noise was. I huff grabbing my shield preparing for anything.

"Easy, Sarge." Cap tells me as he gets his cowl.

I take my glasses off and get ready for anything. Stark also puts his helmet on as Romanoff speeds up. Stark then pushes a button opening the ramp.

"What are you doing?" Steve asks him.

A man then enters jumping down on the ramp, he hits Stark making him to fall on Cap who then falls on me making me groan. The mystery man grabs Loki by the neck and jumps out of the plane.

"Now there's that guy." Stark huffs.

"Another Asgardian?" Romanoff asks over her shoulder from the pilot seat.

"That guy's friendly?" Steve asks.

"Doesn't matter. If he frees Loki or kills him. The Tesseract's lost." She says.

Stark then begins to walk to the edge of the ramp.

"Stark, we need a plan of attack." Steve tells him.

"I have a plan. Attack!" He says and flies out the jet.

Steve then makes his way to grab a parachute and I also stand up.

"I'd sit this one out Cap and Sarge." Romanoff says over her shoulder.

"I don't see how we can." Steve tells her.

"These guys come from legend, they're basically gods." She says.

I roll my eyes grabbing my shield then make my way and jump off the ramp.

"Did- did she just jump with no parachute?" Natasha asks in disbelief.

"Yeah, she tends to do that." Steve says strapping on the chute, grabbing his shield and dives out following his best friend head first.

Thor and Iron Man get ready to deliver more blows at each other until a shield ricochets off both their chests.

"Hey!" Cap exclaims as he catches his shield.

"That's enough!" He jumps down from the tree.

J.D. comes out from seemingly no where.

"Where were you?" Steve asks turning to me.

"I had to take a whiz." I mumble with a shrug and he shakes his head turning back to the blonde man and Stark as we approach them.

"Now, I don't know what you plan on doing here-

"I've come here to put an end to Loki's schemes!" The blonde interjects.

"Then prove it. Put that hammer down." Steve tells him.

"Uh, yeah! No! Bad call, he loves his hammer-" Stark says but is cut short when the man swings his hammer back sending him flying back.

The mystery man then turns his attention to us.

"You want me to put my hammer down?" He questions.

Thor leaps swinging his down Mjolnir. When it connects with a shield there is a loud boom and a flash of light. The four are thrown backwards. They slowly get to their feet approaching one another. But they all focus on Barnes as it was her shield used against Thor, Steve being tossed aside by his friend for protection and the god looking at the woman in surprise and disbelief.

"Are we done here?" I ask looking between all the guys.
