Lexa had suggested that she would drive again since she doesn’t drink alcohol and the others could drink a glass of wine with their foods if they wanted. She picked out the restaurant and Luna and her were on the way to Clarke’s house to pick up Clarke and Raven. “Are you nervous?” Luna asked while Lexa kept her eyes on the road. “What do you mean? Why would I be?”
“Because it will probably lead to a conversation about Costia with Raven.” Luna said and Lexa thought of it for a second. “It’s a sensitive subject of course but I think with Raven it will be different because she kinda is going through the same. And with you and Clarke I’m very comfortable to talk so there won’t be a big difference. Maybe it will help to talk with someone who is experiencing the same. It’s even worse for her since Murphy fell in love with someone else while still being with Raven.” 
“Yeah I know. And Raven doesn’t deserve that at all. She’s great.” Luna said with a sigh and Lexa shortly looked at her side to see Luna’s face. Luna caught Lexa’s gaze and gave her a questionable look. “What?” Luna asked. “Nothing.” Lexa said with a grin and Luna narrowed her eyes. “What?” She repeated. “I don’t know. It’s just the way you talk about Raven.” 
“What about it?” 
“I don’t know. Normally you are Luna. The cold and arrogant one. But when you talk about her it’s like that shield falls down.” 
“What shield?” Luna asked and Lexa scoffed. “The one you are having around you right now. It’s okay. Your secret is safe with me.” Lexa said while she winked at her cousin with a grin. “What secret?!” 
“Now you know how it feels when you start to assume things between me and Clarke.” 
“I don’t assume things. I observe and I report.” 
“I guess it’s time for glasses then.” 
“For yourself, I agree. Because it’s obvious.” Luna shot back and Lexa rolled her eyes. “We’re here so you better behave. I don’t want to see or hear any of this bullshit while Clarke is here too.” Lexa said and she drove on Clarke’s driveway. “I can’t promise you that.” Luna said before she got out of the car and Lexa couldn’t say anything back anymore because Clarke had opened her door already and was standing in front of them. She couldn’t say anything because Clarke would ask what was going on but also because she was speechless of the way she looked. Lexa just stared at Clarke for a moment with open mouth what made Clarke blush and Luna scoff. “Are you sure you didn’t forgot your glasses in the car?” Luna asked to Lexa but Lexa didn’t even hear it. Clarke looked with a questionable look at Luna because she didn’t understand what Luna meant and Luna just laughed it off. “Wow Clarke you look amazing.” Lexa was finally able to say something and it made Clarke blush even more. Suddenly Raven came from behind Clarke and it was Luna’s turn to be speechless. They all complimented each other and then get in the car to get to the restaurant. 

Once they arrived at the restaurant they sat down and started to talk. There were no awkward silences and all of them got along real quick. No one felt left out of the conversation. They hadn’t mentioned Costia or Murphy yet and all of them were scared that if one of them did, the happy mood around the table would fade away. The two cousins shared old family stories and embarrassing moments of each other while Clarke and Raven would tell more about the band and what they had been through. They stopped talking when the waitress came with their orders. They were all about to eat until they noticed how the waitress didn’t leave immediately. “Can I ask you something?” She asked to Lexa and Lexa nodded. “You are Lexa Woods right?” she asked and Lexa nodded again. Lexa didn’t like it when people approached her while she was in company of her family or friends. “I knew I recognized you. It doesn’t happen a lot that such a pretty lady comes eating here.” The waitress said and Clarke almost choke on her drink. She couldn’t believe what was happening in front of her eyes. Lexa just awkwardly smiled at the lady. “Can I take a picture with you?” The waitress said and Lexa got off of her chair and stood by the girl for the picture. Clarke noticed the way the girls had laid her hand on Lexa’s hip while posing for the picture. After taking the picture Lexa sat down again. “This may sound crazy but can I have your number?” the waitress suddenly asked and Clarke’s eyes widened while she scoffed. She regretted it the moment it left her mouth and everyone could hear it because all eyes were on her suddenly. She quickly grabbed her glass of water and fake coughed before sipping of it, pretending she had choked in something. The waitress seemed to believe it or simply didn’t care because she turned to Lexa again. “I’m sorry but I’m recently out of a relationship and I’m not looking for a new one right now. So I hope you understand that right now  I just want to have fun with my friends.” Lexa said and the waitress left again. “That was interesting…” Luna said to break the silence. “Are you kidding me?! That was hilarious!” Raven said and she started to laugh. “She’s arrogant. I mean she knows you are famous and sees you sitting with us yet she still isn’t ashamed of asking for a picture and your number.” Clarke said with a scoff and she started to eat her food. “She took her shot. Some people just don’t have the balls to speak up and miss a lot of things because of that.” Luna said. “I just found it inappropriate.” Clarke said and Lexa noticed how it had changed Clarke’s mood.
