Clarke flew in her mother’s arms when she saw her getting out of the car. “I missed you so much.” Clarke whispered while she hugged her tight and Abby petted her hair. “I missed you too baby. So much.” Abby said and after a while they let go of each other. Clarke had only thought of hugging her mom that she forgot about Kane who would join her. She walked closer to the man and extended her hand. “Hi. I’m Clarke. Nice to meet you.” Clarke said and the man shook her hand with a smile. “I’m Marcus Kane but you can call me Kane. Pleasure is all mine. Your mother has told me a lot about you and I loved your concerts.”
“Only good stuff I hope and thank you. I’m glad you liked it. Come inside please.” Clarke said and she helped them get their stuff out of the car and install it in the guestroom. “You have a very beautiful house.” Kane said while he looked around. “Thanks. I think it’s one of the benefits of being an artist. You’re able to buy a beautiful house. I think it needs to compensate your lack of privacy.” Clarke said with a sigh. “Like your kiss with Bellamy getting on the internet.” Abby said with a grin and Clarke groaned while she rolled her eyes. “Mom we are not going to have this conversation.” Clarke said and she tried to walk away but Abby grabbed her arm. “No come on. Why not? Why can’t we have those mother-daughter relationships where we tell everything to each other?” Abby begged and Kane tried to walk pass them. “I think I should let you two alone to talk.” Kane said but Clarke held him back. “No you’re staying because this is not going to happen. You’re not open about your relationship either. I don’t know details about you two so why would I tell mine?”
“Okay if you want to know some-” Abby started but Clarke didn’t let her finish. “No! I don’t want to hear any details. Ever!” Clarke said and she looked at both of them. Kan raised his hands in the air and Abby nodded to show they understood. “Bellamy and I kissed one time and that’s it. Nothing more. Now let’s make dinner because I’m hungry.” Clarke said and they went downstairs.

Lexa was sitting on her bed, scrolling through her gallery and deleting pictures with Costia until she came across a picture of her and Clarke. Was she really right and did Clarke feel something for her too? Or is she just hallucinating. Lexa watched the rain dripping down on her window. And she was done with the questions. She needed answers so she got up from the bed and ran to her garage. She took the car and drove as fast as she could through the streets but because the roads were slippery because of rain, she couldn’t go as fast as she wanted. Adrenaline was pumping through her veins and she hitted the steering wheel with her hand demanding it to go faster but it wouldn't. Lexa set the car of the side of the road and started to run instead. The rain drenching her clothes and cooling down her burning skin. Of course she didn’t run faster than her car but the feeling of being in control here felt better. The burning of her muscles and lungs demanding for oxygen but Lexa didn’t ever slow down. She had a destination and she would give everything in her to get there as soon as possible. And the moment she ran into Clarke’s street, a smile of victory came on her face. She rang the bell while she waited for Clarke to open that door. She was so impatient she rang it multiple times until the blonde stood in front of her and her smile became even wider. “Lexa? What are you doing here outside? God, it’s pouring. You’re drenched!” Clarke said while she looked confused at the brunette in front of her who was clearly out of breath. “I don’t care. I need to tell you something and it couldn’t wait. I’ve waited long enough.” Lexa said and Clarke didn’t say anything. She just closed the door more so Abby nor Kane would hear anything of this conversation. Once Lexa had Clarke’s full attention again, she started to talk. “I’m in love with you, Clarke. I’ve been for a long time and I tried to stop myself because I didn’t think you would ever love me back in that way. I kept telling myself I didn’t  have a chance with you because you’re straight and I told myself to move on. That was easier said than done. There wasn’t a minute that went by and I didn’t think of you. And when we were on the rooftop and we almost kissed, I wasn’t so sure anymore if you were a straight girl. Please don’t tell me I was wrong and I misinterpret all of that.” Lexa said with hopeful eyes at Clarke who stood there with open mouth. “What about Costia?” Clarke asked confused. “I broke up with her. I didn’t feel right. Not when I compare it with what I feel when I’m around you.” Lexa said and she waited for Clarke to say something. But Clarke just looked behind her inside. “I- uhm. My mom and her new boyfriend are inside.” Clarke said and Lexa nodded slowly while she felt how her heart sank in her chest. “Alright. I’m sorry for bothering you.” Lexa said with a soft voice and she started to walk away. All the energy had left her body and she felt defeated. Clarke slowly went back inside and startled when her mother stood in front of her suddenly. “Who was that girl?” She asked and Clarke was scared her mother had heard everything. “A friend.” Clarke said with a crack in her voice and she looked back at the door that was closed now, where Lexa had confessed her love just minutes ago. And Clarke sended her away. She sended her away. The realisation hit hard and she couldn’t hide she made the biggest mistake of her life. Abby cupped her cheeks and forced Clarke to look in her eyes. “I know that look.” Abby said and it was enough for Clarke to break down. “I love her mom.” Clarke confessed and she expected to see shock on her mother’s face but she didn’t. “I know.” Abby whispered and Clarke didn’t know what to say. She knew? “A mother sees it when her child is in love. Now go after her.” Abby said and she kissed Clarke’s forehead. Clarke ran out of the house and looked at both ends of the street. Her heart fluttered when she saw Lexa’s back at the left side and she ran towards her. Once Lexa heard footsteps approaching her she turned around, just in time to catch Clarke while the blonde pressed her lips against Lexa’s. Lexa needed a second to realise what was happening but she knew by the way her whole body tingled, she wasn’t dreaming this. This is real. Clarke Griffin was kissing her. Lexa pulled Clarke closer against her body, wanting to feel her as close as possible. And they kissed until their lungs burned and they were forced to pull away. Lexa cupped Clarke’s cheek while she looked into her favourite pair of eyes. “I’m in love with you too.” Clarke said and they both chuckled at how crazy this all was before Clarke pulled Lexa closer again by her neck. She couldn’t get enough of these soft lips.
