Everyone had given Octavia, Luna and Lexa the time to settle in their hotel room. Lexa was currently looking from her balcony to the view of the Eiffel Tower until a few soft knock on her door made her look away. She walked to the door and opened it to see a very excited blonde in front of her. “Tired?” She asked with a huge smile and it made Lexa smile naturally with her too. “No, why?” Lexa asked with narrowed eyes because she found this a suspicious question. “Well…” Clarke started while she walked passed Lexa into the room and let her fall on the bed. “Octavia and I were thinking of a party but only if everyone is up for it. So here I am asking you if you’re up for it.” Clarke asked while she closed her eyes to enjoy the feeling of the soft mattress and Lexa leaned against the wall, watching the blonde. “Why doesn’t it surprise me that the moment you and Octavia see each other, that you’re already planning parties.” Lexa laughed and Clarke shrugged. “What about the tour though?” Lexa asked. “We have time to recover of our hangover. The performance in Paris is in 2 days. Or are you not going to drink?” Clarke asked while she sat up again to hear how that situation was now with the accident. Lexa pushed herself off the wall and sat down next to Clarke. “In moderation. I can drink something but doesn’t need to be fatal.” “How’s the situation between you and Luna now?” “Not the same as before and I don’t know if it ever will be like that. She kept something away from me for so long. She saw me suffer and we even talked about that accident many times but she never told me. And I don’t know, it broke a certain bound of trust. So the only person I trust now about the whole thing is you although it’s not easy.” “I think she did it to protect you. She already saw how devastated you were about it and how you blame yourself for their death too. She protected you of having a third on your conscience.” “Is protecting me of the truth that good?” Lexa asked while she scoffed softly and looked at the ground while she started to play with her fingers. Clarke took her hand in hers what made Lexa look up into her eyes. “In your case maybe. Because you didn’t see the truth. You made your own truth. Your truth would have been that 3 people are dead because of you and that’s not the truth.” Clarke said and they stared into each other’s eyes for a moment while Lexa thought of Clarke’s words. She had a point but it was hard to convince herself of that. “Luna will always stay family of me. She’s the sister I never had and I’ll always be grateful for what she and her parents did for me and Lincoln.” “Maybe time will heal it.” Clarke said and Lexa could only nod. “Okay but let’s get out of this sad mood and go into party mood instead.” Clarke said while she got up and dragged Lexa with her. “We are going to get ready. Show me what you got, Miss Woods.”

Once everyone got ready for the party, they walked to the club. It wasn’t a long walk and they were lucky with the weather because it didn’t rain. The moment they walked into the club, Lexa noticed Josephine Lightbourne in the crowd. It didn’t take long for Octavia and Clarke to notice her too and they started to run towards each other. Everyone followed them and now Lexa noticed the other girl standing next to Josephine too. She was getting hugged by Octavia so it had to be Niylah. Lexa was asking herself if Clarke knew that these two would be here too or not. She got pulled out of her thoughts when Clarke turned towards her and motioned her to come closer towards her and Josephine. “If it isn’t the one and only Lexa Woods.” Josephine said and she moved closer to Lexa to give her a hug. Lexa forced a smile on her face for the woman who took a big deal away of her. “I never thought I would actually meet you in real life. What was the last time we communicated?” Josephine asked and Lexa knew all too well that Josephine knew the exact moment of their last communication but she just wanted to talk about that day. “The day you had to replace me on my photoshoot.” Lexa said and Josephine acted like she finally remembered. Lexa had to contain herself of not rolling her eyes. “That’s right! What a shame! You really missed out on that one. The photographer was so friendly like we still talk weekly and it was a great success.” Josephine said and Lexa could only plaster a smile on her face. She was relieved when Octavia called her name to introduce her to Niylah. Unlike Josephine, Niylah was very down to earth and trying to become a fulltime actress. By the time Lexa and Niylah were fully introduced to each other, Josephine had dragged Clarke up the dancefloor already. Lexa couldn’t deny she didn’t like it and went to the bar to get a drink. She leaned against the bar while she was kept an eye on Clarke. “I don’t like her either.” A voice beside her suddenly said and Lexa looked beside her to see Raven looking at Josephine while drinking of her straw. “How-” Lexa started but Raven didn’t let her finish. “Oh please. It’s obvious. You look the same way at her as I do.” Raven said and Lexa didn’t deny or admit. “Why don’t you like her?” Lexa asked and Raven scoffed. “Take a guess. She’s friends with Murphy. And even if it was only that. I didn’t like her when Murphy and I were dating either. I always had the feeling she was seducing him. When he admitted he kissed someone else while we were in a fight, I expected him to mention Josephine but no. It always comes out of a corner you didn’t expect. Innocent Emori.” Raven said with a sigh and she took another sip. “What’s your reason though?” Raven asked and she turned to Lexa now. “She ran away with success that was supposed to be mine.” Lexa said and she took a sip of her drink too while she watched how Josephine took Clarke’s hand and let her twirl. “Are you sure that’s the only reason though?” Raven asked and Lexa looked at Raven now with confused face. “What other reason could there be?” Lexa asked and Raven walked away with a grin while she sipped of her drink, leaving Lexa in confusion
