14. A Probable surprise

Me and Kent had arrived New Delhfi's Airport at 4:50 PM. It was kinda hot actually. Well it was near the equator, where the Sun is pointing directly
In short words, A tropical country.

Otherwise than that, it was a good country to stay on, I do agree for that. Back to the story...

We had arrived at New Delhi's Airport in just a Day, probably looking determined again for another journey that we had decided on. We're still not entirely sure that the cave is gonna be on the Himalayas mountains, it was only been said on Google, not by locals. I hope it is there.

We are at the arrival area, where they wait for their loved ones from abroad. I still remembered my old friends except for Kent, He was with me a month ago. I just still miss them....

Then Kent asked me...

"What's the matter bud? ", He asked, worried

"I just still miss them", I replied, as tears dripped on my cheek, remembering the memories that we made on college,

"That's Okay bud, soon you will see them", He said, as He put his hand into my shoulder

"Thanks for everything bud"

"What everything? "

"Everything, your support in the journey, your things that helped us in going to the mine, and others"

"Nah, don't mind it. For thor, we're friends, and that's what friends are for. I am always here bud, for you"

"Thanks bud, I am really lucky that I had you", I thanked him with a smile on my face

"That's nothing, but other than that-"

"What? "

"Like I said back on the plane, there would be a Probable Surprise "

"What surprise, exactly? "

"You would know it later"

"Okay"

We had stepped on the escalator, where crowds wait their loved ones from other countries. They had cards raised up with greetings, welcoming them back to their home country. I started to look for any familiar faces in the crowd, I didn't see any faces there familiar to me. I searched more, but still nothing.

We're at the bottom of the escalator, then suddenly Kent grabbed me by hand and went to the exit hurriedly...

"What the thor bud? ", I exclaimed, probably almost lost my balance because he suddenly grabbed me without knowing or asking my permission (Nah just joking, asking permission is very, very low chance for that action, it would be awkward though)

"Just come to me, follow me I mean", He whispered

"Where the heck are we going, just tell me Kent", I questioned

He never replied, I really know He was up to something. I only observed him when I woke up at the plane

Then finally we stopped on a fast food chain. I wandered why he we are stopping on a fast food chain, because He's hungry, nope it is not possible, He ate his food while we are in the plane. What else would it be!?!?

Then, he took out his cellphone and probably texted someone, I don't know who, but I know they had an connection to each other. Then He put back his cellphone again, I asked him again this time

"What is the matter bud? ", I asked him again, I hope he answers..

"Err, uhh, this is just nothing", He stuttered

"You sure? "

"Yeah"

"I don't think so"

"Why? "

"You have been really up to something. It all started on the plane, when I asked some questions to you, you didn't answer it. Until now? ", I exclaimed

He sighed, "Okay, okay you got me Dennis, do you know why we are waiting here and all about me is being up to something? "

"Of course", I scoffed

"Okay, okay just calm down. The reason why we are waiting here is because I am waiting for a special someone"

"Who is that special someone? Is it your cousin, your nephew, your mom, your aunt? Who is it? ", I questioned curiously

As I finished that question, A 5-foot 4-inches man walked towards me, I knew I was familiar to his face. It was.. It was.....

"It was him", He told me, as he pointed to that man He was talking about

"Wait is it you??........ NAFIE?!?! "

"Hello Dennis, welcome to India", Nafie purred

Yup, it was him, I was amazed that Kent had an communication with Nafie all along!!

But other than that we still need to remain focus on our journey on finding that cave.

Onto the next chapter..
