37. The Second Phase

Three Days later

This morning :

I woke up at nearly 6 o'clock in the morning, I rose up and fixed my bed. Then I went down to see the other five waiting for me. They were doing their chores, washing plates, cleaning the ground, and fixing the chairs. I went down the stairs and the five boys noticed me

"Morning Dennis! ", Kent greeted, as he wiped the living room table with a piece of clothing

"Morning Too!", I said back

"You're still sleepy Den", Dusty implied, as he walked towards the kitchen table and served our breakfast. Not to mention,  Dusty was a good cook in the team

"Look at his hair, it looks like it was blown by an bomb", Said Sairo, who was laughing a little because my hair was like a bedraggled

"Really funny Sairo", I snorted

"Here is your breakfast... Woah!! ", Dusty exclaimed, I ran towards him as he slipped down because of a puddle of water in the ground, but I caught the food quickly and prevented Dusty from falling. We both breathed heavily, the other boys looked at us..

"You okay? ", I asked worriedly

"Yeah I'm good, thanks", Dusty replied

"Be careful next time bud", I said

"Much obliged Den"

"No problem", I replied, as I put the food into the table and started to eat my breakfast, Dusty also sat down beside me and called the others

"Hey guys, breakfast is here! ", Dusty shouted, as the other four washed their hands and went to the kitchen table and started to sit down

"I hope you enjoyed the meal guys", Dusty implied, as we finally took a bite in our meals and chewed it

"Dusty.... This is delicious! ", Kent said

"This is only my good dishes that I could serve you, well I was also a chef on a restaurant, more like a bar actually", He explained

"Wait, I thought you are the manager there", I interrupted

"I do help the crew there Den", He replied back

While I was eating, I hear a little buzz from a certain animal, or insect. I became annoyed so I rubbed my ears to see if its only a hearing mistake. But its still there, I rubbed my ears again, still there. Then Nafie noticed me acting weird, he froze for a second then put his spoon down

"Hey Dennis, you alright? ", He asked

"I'm not sure, but something is buzzing on my ears", I replied

"Is it mosquitoes? ", Nafie asked

"I think so", I said, "I'm not sure about it, I admit something weird is happening to me, but don't worry, I'm still good, you can continue your meals"

While we are eating, the buzz was heard by me again and it's starting to annoy me, I scratched my ears again to stop the buzz, but it's still there. Then for a while, I knew something was behind me. Due to my very acute senses, I moved my hand behind me, I closed my palm and caught something small, I moved my hand in front of me and opened it a little bit, I saw a fly. Now I know what is the buzzing thing that is annoying me. Seriously, buzzing flies of mosquitoes are really annoying, trust me.

"What is that, Den? ", Kent asked, as he stood up a little bit from his chair and poked into my right hand, "That's only a fly Dennis, why did you caught it? ", He asked

"Well, it's annoying me for the past 3 minutes Kent. And you simply don't know how annoying flies is", I snorted, as Kent sat back down to his chair and continued his breakfast

"Hey bud, You okay? ", Dusty asked worriedly, he put his hands on my shoulder

"Yeah, I'm fine, you want pancakes? ", I asked sarcastically, as I opened my hands released the fly. As Dusty continued to eat his breakfast but he always looks at me.

As soon as we finished eating, I gathered all the plates and glass to the sink and wash it, the other five boys did their own businessess as I only washed the plates. I looked back and saw Kent and Dusty talking to each other, they we're whispering so I didn't mind what their saying because they are to far from me. I turned my face to the plates and continued to wash the plates. While I was washing the plates, I heard something that was whispering through my ear. I could clearly hear the words that was being talked to..

"Hey Kent, did you notice Dennis was acting weird this time?", Dusty whispered, I was still focusing on washing the dishes on the sink, I didn't mind them for instance

"Not sure,but if it is not good, I am worried", Kent said

"Well, He caught a fly with his hands very swiftly, some people only had that ability too, but  Den is different. Well not for me, I know he is acting weird but catching a fly is very hard for a human. I guess the chance is, lets say 1000 to one", Dusty replied

"Then, he heard the fly's buzzing for about 5 minutes! We didn't hear even a single buzz of a fly though!", Kent exclaimed

"Sshhh, be quiet, Dennis may hear us", Dusty exclaimed quietly (Or is it whispering with a little bit of shouting?)

"Okay! Dusty, do you have any ideas why is he acting weird lately this time?", Kent asked

"One thing to be sure, He is so freaking agressive. That is the only reason I know, no ideas more. if this is involved in the transformation, that would be a little bit of good news", Dusty answered

"That could be an theory", Kent nodded

I finally put the plates down first in a annoyed manner, I washed my hands and looked to them.

"Okay! Okay, I'll tell the truth", I replied, as I walked towards the two boys, "The second phase of the transformation kicked in okay, Happy now?", I replied sarcastically, as the reamining men looked to me in shock, same with Dusty and Kent

"Wh-What?!", Dusty stammered, as the other boys dropped their things and went towards me, then I started to tell the story to them

"Well it's kinda weird but I dreamt it", I started, "When I was sleeping three days ago, I dreamt Hiccup, we were in the Raven Point where he first met Toothless and gained his first Trust. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the net that Hiccup used to track down Toothless 35 years back, when I met Hiccup, He told me that my senses would be three times more acute than humans. Well dragons has very acute senses right?"

"Yeah, why?", Nafie asked

"It's the part of the transformation, you know, the transformation of me that will turn to a Night Fury?"

"Ohhh, right I know it", Dusty answered

"Then, he said that the final phase will be 5 days form now. And I should train myself for my acute senses. To hone my instincts"

"Okay, when do we start?", Sairo asked

"Later or now?"

"Let's train you now buddy", Dusty said seriously, as we stood up and fixed our things. After five minutes of preparing, we all went outside in our backyard grabbing bunch of things to start my training

"So, we'll start now", Kent replied, as he took a sharp breath and stood facing me
