I finally opened my eyes, to check out if I am still falling, I breathed heavily. Still nervous..
"Damn it Dennis! You almost made my heart stop! ", He shouted at me. I chuckled off. Kent is still holding my wrist tightly, to prevent from falling off
"Well, at least I'm not dying", I said sarcastically, chuckling off
"Did you get him Skrill? ", Christopher worriedly asked. Still breathing heavily
"Yeah, I got him, Pull us up now! ", He shouted, as the both of us is rising towards the surface where the 3 men is still waiting
As we reached the surface, I lied down near the edge, I exhaled in relief. Still can't forget what happened to me five minutes ago. Then Kent crouched down in front of me..
"Next time, be careful bud. Okay? You did almost killed me with a heart attack", Kent shouted at me
"Okay bud, I will never do it again. Unless you shout at me again loudly", I laughed, as Kent grabbed my hand and helped me stand up. He patted my shoulder and started to walk all over again, the rest had sighed in relief. We grabbed our things and started to walk...
I checked my watch, checking the altitude and the temperature at our place. We are at 25 078 feet above see level and the temperature has risen again up to -10 degrees Celsius. We are going at the Base camp number 5, we should rest there first to eat our meals and take a nap. While we are walking, I thinked about the remaining time for the snowstorm to hit..
--By Radio--
Dennis : "By the way guys, I need the snowstorm update, what is the remaining time for us for the snowstorm will hit? "
Christopher : "Okay, I'm checking... About 37 hours less. "
Nafie : "We're still in schedule right? "
Kent : "I think so"
Dennis : "We're out in schedule"
Christopher : "What?! By how many? "
Dennis : "Probably about, 7 minutes? "
Christopher : "Haha, really funny Dennis"
Kent : "Stay tune in the time guys"
Nafie : "I agree with Skrill "
Dennis : "Roger that, Skrill"
Sairo : "10-4 Skrill"
------------
It took us 3 long hours to get on Camp number 5, we skipped several camps to catch our time. The average temperature that we recorded on is -14 degrees Celsius. Luckily, we didn't have frostbites while travelling in a cold, steep, and a treacherous mountain. I do admit that I doubted the idea that I made about this. Because there is a lot of chances that there would be an accident happening while we are doing the trek, like what happened to me on the trench 2 hours ago.
We reached Camp 5, an altitude of 25 600 feet above sea level, the temperature is -5 degrees. Lot warmer than I expected....
"Phew, at last, we could rest! ", Kent said in relief, as He brought his sleeping bags and his snacks out
"Well, yup, after this sleep, we should use the drones for the exploration, Nafie ready the drones. You are the only one in the team that could operate the drones", I pointed at Nafie, as He readied the drones up for the investigation on the mountain range
"Ready as ever, Dennis", He responded back
"Make sure that there is no problems during the flight, okay? ", I asked
"Absolutely, I will never fail ya", He said
After that, I turned to the team...
"Okay guys, we need to rest first, the flight exploration will happen later", I said to them, as I lied down to my rubber mat and finally closed my eyes
"Roger that Night", Kent replied
"Got it", Sairo said
"I should stay awake", Nafie interrupted
"Why? ", I questioned
"I will double check the drone's mechanisms and its camera"
"Okay, try your best for that"
"Thanks, Night"
I finally closed my eyes and slept, we will start the drone's exploration when we all wake up.
'I hope we could find that village, for the dragons ', I thought
I still wondered on how we would enter the cave though...
Other than that, we would supervise Nafie on finding that village. A big good luck for us, for our journey would continue
