98. Checking the Utopia

-The next day-

I finally snapped awake from my dreamless sleep, as I suddenly thought about the fight yesterday with the alpha. I mean everything just stings in my memory, I couldn't remember them exactly but that is the only thought here I had remembered, being in the fight between the Bewilderbeast. It was quite creepy and just shocking because it had showed me the wounds and the part where Toothless had been shot by me when I was being controlled by the Bewilderbeast. I had remembered where I hit him, all of my moves and my red vision that had consumed as the Bewilderbeast had controlled me. It was a horrible thought that stung to my mind as it was really shocking to me, back then, I didn't remember anything as the Bewilderbeast's power and control had consumed me. Still, I tried to shake the thought out of my mind but it was still there, wouldn't try to get out from my mind. I had also remembered the time here Toothless had begged for mercy as he fell down the ground and curled in pain, it was the shot that I had given to him as the bad Alpha had commanded me in my mind. Then, there were the gang who were trying to stop me but they were being stopped by the dragons that had been guarding and just watching me to kill Toothless. The Bewilderbeast had just continued to control me as I started to walk towards Toothless who was curling on the ground in pain, and had been wanted to recover from the blast that had been given to him by me. Then for the final time, I finally was in front of the limp body of Toothless as I placed my paw in his belly where I had just shot him, he whimpered in pain as I did this because the blast that I just gave to him is really hurting him. I readied a blast in my throat as I was finally finishing off Toothless, but after a minute or two, I suddenly lost vision and finally went back to my real self. I opened my eyes and panted heavily as I had saw the things that I did to Toothless, I was so scared that those things that I have done to Toothless. I finally sat upright and looked around if the gang is awake, they were still sleeping on their respective beds even their on dragons in front of their beds, they were still sleeping deeply without knowing that I woke up. I removed the blanket on my body and finally set my feet on the ground, I took deep breaths to steady my breathing. I stayed in my bed for a minute in thinking about of what I did to Toothless. I finally stood up and walked towards the doors, I tried to push it open but suddenly, a dragon nudges me. I quickly cocked my head towards the dragon and saw it that it was just Toothless. I released my hands from the door and looked to him for a moment, he inserted his head between my arm and purred to me affectionately. I looked at him and kneeled to the ground and touched my forehead to mine, as I spoke at him and talked about what I did to him on the Utopia.

"Toothless, I am sorry that I had blasted you back on the utopia, I almost had killed you because I never wanted to surrender to the Bewilderbeast, look what I have done to you." I whispered to him, letting a tear roll on my cheek and drops on Toothless forehead, he released from me and looked at me hardly, he nudged me and let out a sad purr at me. I know it was hard for Toothless when I was controlled by the Bewilderbeast a while ago, he didn't wanted to fight me because I am his friend. He knew that I was being controlled because of the time that I had been acting weird and my pupils had been going to round towards slits and going back to round again. Toothless didn't expect this to happen because he only focused in fighting and defeating the Bewilderbeast that had been in terror on the Dragon Utopia for a thousand years, but it is finally over because I defeated him with a single combat with him. It felt good as I finally gained my alpha instincts, but my conscience had consumed me, because last time I thought that I would kill the Bewilderbeast because of rage and fury, but I decided to ask him if he will flee or stay under my command. Toothless nudges me again and finally spoke to me, I looked down sadly and ashamed as I thought all of this.

"Dennis, you don't have a thing to apologize to me, it was not your fault that you had fired a plasma blast at me. It was the Bewilderbeast's fault, but you got your revenge as you defeated him on the single combat between you too." Toothless explained, letting out a purr at me, telling me that I shouldn't apologize because it was the Bewilderbeast's fault. Even though I had blasted him, he still made me as the good guy, the bad Alpha had mostly controlled me that time as I remember the things in the mind with my own vision, seeing the things were I had acted on the control from the Bewilderbeast. As I heard this, I finally moved my head and looked to Toothless, I smiled at him happily as he said this, moreover, he didn't want me to blame myself always. He came near me and nudged me again affectionately, I placed my left hand on his forehead and spoke at him.
