10. Abandoned Mine - The extension

"Oww, that hurts", I grunted as I stood up from my place, I had back pain but weared out fastly.

"You Okay, bud? ", He asked if I am hurt

"Yeah, I'm good", I replied

As we stood up, we saw an extension of the mine, we saw few things left on that part of the mine. But we check out those things first if they had a use. After a minute or two, we found wooden logs that blocks out something or some place. It was damaged by the minecart that we rode on.

"Hey bud, do you see that? ", I asked him, as I pointed my finger to the blocked passageway

Kent didn't answered, He just went forward to the hidden passage. I followed after him, We removed the debris that blocked the passageway out. As we removed the debris, we are suddenly kinda disappointed because of what we've saw.

It was a dead end.

Then suddenly, Kent turned down on me.

"Oh great, so this was we came for eh! THIS IS WHAT WE CAME FOR!?!? An dead end, Dead end!!?? ", All those words, Kent shouted it at the top of his voice

"Kent, but we haven't--"

"We haven't what, exactly? ", He slowly replied, lowering down his voice

"We haven't found Agartha yet", I finished

"Oh Agartha, Agartha, Agartha. That.. Word.. Goes on my nerves!! ", He stutted, and was irritated as I say that word over and over again

"Sorry bud", I said, looking disgraced

"Now you're sorry, you should have said that when we started the journey a while ago, NOW WERE TRAPPED INSIDE A CAVE!! The entrance is about a kilometer away!! How do we get out Mr. Smarty?! ", He asked me while being outraged.

I didn't replied back..

"See, you got nothing!! NOTHING!! ", He shouted those words directly at me
"Now were trapped here forever! "

After that argument, I stepped away from Kent to calm ourselves down, I sat on an wedged rock and cried silently, sobbing..

"Why the heck did I do this", I mumbled
"This is my fault, I got ourselves into this. I will find a way", I said, still crying

"There is no way out! ", Kent replied, he lowered his voice that time

"Like the saying, 'There is always a way'. Don't lose hope, let's go find a way out, Come on! ", I exclaimed, wiping my tears on my face

We stood up as we search every corner of this part of the mine, we had taken hours in searching, we still didn't found any caves or cave systems that we could go through, or I most preffered, an exit.
As the time passes, we still search for any caves for other ways. After an hour or so, we found a small tunnel, still with the wooden support beams.

"Phew, finally, another tunnel. I hope it doesn't lead to another mine", He sighed in relief

"Yeah, we need to check this one out", I continued

We entered the tunnel with no hesitation, we had to check the tunnel out if it is leading to an exit. It was our only choice, if we didn't tried it, maybe we're trapped there forever.

A conversation started while we are walking..

"Hey bud, I am sorry that I brought you in this journey, this is my fault, I am so sorry that I invited you in the first place", I apologized
