36. "The second phase starts, Dennis"

I had another dream with Hiccup, but it is entirely different. Hiccup and I were in the Ravon Point where Hiccup and Toothless first met. Well the second phase kicks in after 3 days, then he will discuss and teach me on how to hone my instincts when I am in full dragon form.

The dream starts when I went to the Cove, I saw Hiccup throwing stones to the lagoon..

I entered an entrance towards the cove, I still saw the net that Hiccup used to catch Toothless, the ropes we're worn out due to the oldness, no wonder why he didn't removed it from it's place. I walked towards the other end of the entrance, I saw Hiccup throwing some stones to the lagoon...

"Hiccup! ", I cried, as he moved his head towards me and smiled

"Well, well, well, you finally mastered the first phase, being a hybrid. How is the feeling? ", He asked, as he grabs another stone and threw it into the lagoon

"Well, it was good", I exclaimed, "My first time to fly, ever! ", I exclaimed

"By the way Hiccup, why are we here on the cove? You're supposed to be in New Berk", I uttered, he grabbed another stone but he froze, he looked at me with his sad face, he sat down to a rock and lowered his head in sadness

"I just remebered the time where Toothless and I first met, and where I gained Toothless' trust, I still wonder where are the dragons now", He explained, as tears poured down to his cheeks. I went to Hiccup, sat down beside him and I patted his shoulder

"It's okay Hiccup, I will find the dragons and make them free to roam the world again", I said, as Hiccup wiped his tears away

"Thanks Den, I'm grateful that I have met a person like you", He said, As he looked at the doodle marks that Toothless did 35 years back, he just remembered everything, the Red Death, The Bewilderbeasts, all of it. He still want to go back in time and ride Toothless on his back again

"By the way Hiccup, what are we doing here in the Cove? ", I asked, as Hiccup stood up and turns serious

"Good question Dennis, The second phase starts Dennis, The second phase involves your reflexes", He said

"Reflexes? ", I asked back

"Sense of Hearing, sense of Smell, sense of Sight, and even faster movements will help you to turn dragon on the third phase", He explained, as he stood up and picked the bow and arrow on the ground near him. He put the arrow on the bow and stretched it, he pointed it to me

"Hiccup what are you doing?! ", I asked frighteningly, I raised my hands up and froze

"You need to trust me on this ", He implied, as he pulled the arrow more

"What?! ", I shouted, "You'll kill me with that arrow Hiccup! "

"Trust me ", He smirked, as he finally released his hands from the arrow. I closed my eyes to unsee the arrow plunging through me. But something triggers me to move my hands, I don't know why but as I swung my left hand, I caught the arrow. The arrowhead was about a millimeter away when I caught it, I panted heavily due to fact that the arrow could go straight to my heart. Hiccup lowered the bow and smiled at me

"Told you you'd trust me", He said

"For Thor sake Hiccup! You should have made a sleep paralysis to me", I said sarcastically, we both laughed. I finally dropped the arrow to the ground and sat to the rock again

"So, the second phase will improve your instincts and reflexes way more than a normal human. So you need to train yourself for your reflexes, your reflexes condition will triple than a human. Which in short, your senses will be more sensitive", He explained

"Really? ", I asked

"You want to try it out? "

"If you insist", I replied, as he stood still for several seconds as he balled his hands and punched straight at me, but I responded quickly and caught Hiccup's wrist and held it still, I was surprised that I could respond to that quickly, even though Hiccup's punch was a surprise.

"See! You responded very quick, you got grip on my wrist very quick! ", Hiccup exclaimed, as I released Hiccup's wrist and was astounded of how my senses responded

"Wow! I can't believe it! ", I exclaimed

"It's one of the dragon's abilities. Well it is a transformation I suppose, so you need to have a training always in your senses", He explained

I nodded, "I'll do my best Hiccup", I said

"So, do you want to try more? ", He said, smiling

"Yeah sure! Why not? ", I exclaimed in happiness.

"Close your eyes", He said. As I stood up from the rock and faced at Hiccup, he grabbed another arrow and placed it on the bow, he pulled the arrow and released it. As the arrow is going straight towards me, I caught the arrow again, but this time with my two hands. I finally opened my eyes

"Again? ", He asked, smiling at me

"Your choice Hiccup", I teased, I smiled a bit. As I began to close my eyes and Hiccup puts two arrows on his bow. He pointed it towards my face, as he released the first arrow and the second one as I heard the whistle from the arrow, I caught the both arrows with my both hands almost a centimeter away from my face, I opened my eyes again and saw the arrowhead in front of me

"Let's try more, other than arrows", He requested, as he lowered his bow and grabbed his dagger from his sheath and threw it at me. I was not focused that time, I looked at the lagoon for a second. But thanks to my very acute senses I responded quickly and caught the tip of the dagger with my two fingers on my left hand

"What the Thor Hiccup!!! ", I roared furiously, as I was almost stabbed by the knife through my shoulder

"You are learning quickly Dennis", He smiled and laughed

"Seriously, It's not funny", I snorted, as he stopped laughing and walked towards me

"Dennis", He said, as he put his arms on my shoulder, "This is only the example of the training you should do back at your home, you need to train hard for this. You have my soul and a Night Fury's soul. I trust you with all my soul that you will find the dragons. You're the only chance that the dragond have, you're the only human that will restore the peace between dragons and human. Good luck Dennis", He said, as he patted my shoulder and walked away from me, as he began to disappear

"Wait!! Hiccup!! ", I shouted, but he disappeared before I said that sentence

I bolted up on my bed, breathing and sweating heavily. I catched my breath for a second and inhaled deeply. I still can't believe that Hiccup trusts me with his soul..

"I promise Hiccup, I will bring the peace between the human and dragons. I will even bet my life through it. I promise Hiccup", I said, as tears dripped to my cheeks

The second phase is coming, well it's all about a dragon's senses and reflexes that will be given to me..
