-Dennis' POV-

"We are not going to hurt you guys, we are friendlies" The commander Skrill said, letting out a relieved roar at us. The Skrill bowed at us and on Toothless, our angry and hatred faces towards the commander turned into relief and curiousness, they are friendlies? How could it be? Are they sure that they are telling us that they are friendlies? I have a lot of questions in my mind that time, but I only kept it secret to myself, the gang had also the same principle in their mind. Those dragons are hostile and about as wild as you've ever imagined, but you could gain their trust sometimes but in a unlikely probability, if you didn't hurt them and gave their favorite food, that should possibly gain their trust towards you. Mostly, I could say that is a likely bad idea if you will just capture them and force them to give their trust to you, I would really not to prefer that because you will be eaten by the dragon that you are taming. This would be really bad because some dragons are really not trainable or tamable, including the infamous Screaming Death, I would really never train or even dare to train that dragon. For instance, this dragons, the Skrill, the Flightmare and the Changewing are the most ferocious and dangerous dragons that Hiccup had encountered his whole life, not to mention the Red Death and the Bewilderbeast had been here for about a thousand years already. So this guys here in front of us, represent the most dangerous creatures that Hiccup had encountered, the Skrill, the Flightmare and the Changewing is those dragons that I am pointing at, those dragons are hard to gain trust and absolutely territorial, and literally could kill someone if they stepped in their territory. These dragons are really, really good in fighting and dangerous, so in overall terms, I don't trust those dragons, they have been on the command of the bad Bewilderbeast for about a thousand years already. They should have said it to fool us and tell us information about something, but they may be worth to trust to. Me and Toothless looked at each other in confusion, we had been so curious about them of why did they say that they are friendlies, maybe they really wanted Toothless to come and save the dragons. We looked again at then dragons as they finally raised their heads up and spoke to them.

"Are you sure that you are friendlies and will not harm us?" I asked the dragons in front of me, as they all nodded their heads to us, agreeing that they are really friendlies, "Maybe you are just fooling us to tell you something about information that you needed from us?" I asked the dragons again, I furrowed my eyebrows at them if they are really telling a lie at us and just wanted some information at us, he is the commander of the guard dragons, and been in the command of the alpha for about a thousand years already. It is literally obvious that he is following the orders of the alpha in a different way where he could understand it, I had a little percentage of trusting him, but the other, is big. Even Toothless, he didn't trust him either, "You are the commander of the guard dragons, Skrill, and I know you have been ordered by the alpha." I finally finished, as the dragons only frowned at me, being asking them on many questions. Then, the Skrill shook his head and let out a frowning roar at us. He is maybe telling the truth but I will never trust him.

"No, that is not the point here human. We have been just acting to the bad alpha to not be seen our secret dragon society here." The Skrill said, letting out a straight low roar at me, as he looked away from me and let out a sigh at me, he finally stared to us and walked in front of the rectangular rock-like desk that he had and spoke. Maybe he was literally telling the truth after all, they were friendlies that had been waiting for Toothless to save them, they have must be in the good side, pretending to be in the control of the alpha because they know that it was literally the bad guy after all. He looked away from me, avoiding eye contact. He was ashamed about everything that he did to us, even the other dragons that had been with him, they looked away from us, avoiding eye contact also. I also let out a sigh of defeat, he was literally telling the truth this time, Toothless also released a breath and purred at me in response, he went beside me and sat on his hind legs, listening to the dragons. The gang had noticed it too, they all had come near us and stared at us, even though they do not understand what we are saying. I finally decided to do what Hiccup did to toothless in his first trust, I stretched out my left arm and offered my hand to the Skrill, he growled at this for a second but then he noticed that it was me, he looked at my hands and sniffed it. He had hesitated for a second because he still remembered the time where he had been in contact with the Hunters, which gave him a trauma because he was abused by them, back then, he never touched or even made contact with the humans. If he sees a human or Viking, he snarls at it and fight, or just growl at them fly away quickly, he would never forgave those humans that harmed him. But this time, he only thought that I am a good human to the dragons, he finally decided about this and looked at me. I thought that he didn't wanted to see me, so I decided to look away and close my eyes, I waited for him to touch his snout (Or nose, I don't know) on my hand, I was also nervous that time that he would just eat my hands, but I only thought positive at myself. The gang had watched me in excitement as I did this, they had stared at me, my hand and the Skrill, wouldn't miss the chance that I acted really like Hiccup. Then suddenly, I finally felt a scaley snout that touched in my hands, I finally released a breath in relief and let my body relax, as I finally started to look at him and open my eyes. He was still on my hands after for a moment of seconds, then he finally releases and opens his eyes, we all had looked at each other as I smiled at him, as I finally gained a ferocious dragon's trust, for the first time. This was entirely a good thing because a Skrill is hard to gain its trust, they always fight for their territories. I finally sighed in relief and spoke at the Skrill.
