All I could feel is nervousness as Demi Lovato called all the nominees for the best girl singer of the year. So here I was standing side by side with Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Rihanna and other very talented singers.
"And the winner of the best girl voice is..."Demi said as she opened the envelope, I was praying to win at least one of the awards I was nominated to.
"Kylie Heart Deron"she said and everyone started clapping and cheering, I was numb in my place.
But, I quickly collected myself so I won't look like a fool who just won her first award. Well it is my first award to win but, I didn't necessarily need to look like a fool. I took the award and hugged Demi and took the mic to say some words. Feeling like a trainwreck was probably an understatement.
I took a deep breath.
"I really want to thank my fans, they've supported me in my every step and they never let me down. When I'm in my lowest times and I think of giving up, I just remember my fans and just keep holding on so I won't let them down. I also want to thank my parents although they couldn't make it here but, they've supported me in every decision and let me tell you I can be hard to handle sometimes..." I paused a few chuckles were heard around, and I didn't even need to look to know that two of them were Emma and Adam.
"Jessica you're not just my manager you're a big sister to me, a great friend I know I can rely on and I know whenever I mess up you'll be there for me. Emma, Adam I know we haven't been able to hang like old times due to literally living thousand miles away now but, you've always been apart of my life and always supported my dreams. So, I want to thank everyone that helped me to get here today and also my haters because every time they put me down, I just get up much more stronger so, thanks" I said these words with tears streaming down my cheeks.
I gave the mic back to Demi and rushed back to my seat. Adam pulled me into a hug while soothing my back, "I'm so proud of you" was what he kept repeating in my ear in a soothing tone of voice.
Other celeberties were called and most of the people here won an award. I actually won most of the awards I was nominated to.
"And the winner of the best album of the year is..."Ariana said while opening the envelope.
"Justin Bieber" everyone started to cheer for him, I actually clapped for him because I know that no one would win such an award if they hadn't worked so hard for it.
Justin took his award and hugged Ariana then took the mic to say some words.
"I want to thank all of my beliebers for supporting me in everything I do and I'm here because of you guys, because you believed in me. And Scooter my man, thank you for being by my side and making my dream come true. I remember when I was this little kid who loved to sing in a small town called Stratford and you discovered me and made my dream come true. And you never gave up on me although I'm not the easiest person to deal with. I also want to thank my parents , Jazzy and Jackson and also my bros Chaz and Ryan. Thank you all for being there" Justin said and walked back to his seat many people cheered again.
The night was finally over but, I wasn't ready to go home yet.
"Guys , what do you say we go celebrate at a night club? "I asked my friends.
"Well, I'm a little bit tired but, nothing could ever stop me from having some fun" Emma said and I turned to Adam.
"Well, I go wherever my girls go" he said and threw an arm over my shoulders and the other arm over Emma's shoulders. Emma and I burst out laughing at his actions while he just rolled his eyes jokingly with a smile on his face.
