Chapter 15
MASON
Eddie never came to the cafeteria that day. I never went to see Rose either. Instead I had made my way towards the dorms after classes where I found my room completely trashed from top to bottom. I instinctively ran for my journal. Yes, I have a journal.
My journal was where I wrote all my personal thoughts. Everything from Rose to my dreams about Ms Karp. I had no idea why I had those dreams, but if I was to guess, it would be because of that night she mysteriously disappeared.
Everyone had thought that she had left but I knew better. I was there the night she was taken away. Rose was too. I never brought it up with her though. Rose is a very secretive person and she would deny ever being there that night. Here at this school though, you don't want to be the one who knows things that are top secret. It immediately puts you in danger and there was no way out. I've seen it before.
My journal was exactly where I always hid it. I looked through to check whether everything was there. I sighed a sigh of relief when I realised that every page was still in. I was about to close it when I realised that I was wrong. Not every page was still in tact. The page about that night with Ms Karp was torn out of the book. Actually, everything involving Ms Karp wasn't there anymore.
Who would take that information? And why would they want them? I looked around the room looking for any clue that they may have left behind. I noticed a few papers under Eddie's study table. I went over to it. I was about to pull them out when the door banged open.
I acted instinctively and went for a lamp. I relaxed when I realised it was just Eddie with......Christian? Why would Eddie be with Christian Ozera?
