First Ambush

Today, we will go to Batangas for our Day Tour.

I want to be as happy and excited as everyone, but I don't feel like it. I have a bad feeling.

I don't know. I really can't pint point why.

"Tey..." tawag ni Andy bago pa kami sumakay sa designated bus namin. "Smile. Mukha kang sa lamay pupunta, eh!"

"I don't know, Ands." I told him.

"Is it because of Beau?" he asked.

I shook my head. "I don't know."

"You can't spend the best years of your life waiting for someone to love you back..." he said.

I took a deep breath.

It's not even it. I just have a bad feeling...

Bus assignment is per Casa. It's funny because the bus is terribly big but only four flammas our present. Me, Stephanie, Mac, and unfortunately, Beau.

Shawn did not join. Kairon on the other hand, is suspended and cannot join any activities for the time being.

Kairon likes Paige, we knew. Stephanie knew... That's why she orchestrated a lie to the Head Mistress that Kairon and Paige is in a relationship and that she saw them kissed.

I can't believe she did that. Pinahamak niya si Kairon at si Paige. It's not right.

Bawal magkaroon ng relasyon ang Aeris at ang Flamma. It's against the rules. Lalo na at Servitoare pa ni Kai itong si Paige.

I wonder how Beau would feel about this. I mean... If he likes Paige, he'll be hurt. Kaya naman no'ng gabing iyon ay tinanong ko na rin ng deretsahan si Paige.

"C-can I ask you a question, Paige?" tanong ko. Tumango naman siya. "I know that there's something between you and the Commander. Hindi makakaila iyon. Pero si Beau... Hindi ba siya masasaktan dito? Hindi ba siya masasaktan pag nalaman niya ang tungkol sa pagiging malapit n'yo ni Kairon?"

I need to ask it. I don't even know why I want to protect Beau.

She immediately shook her head "Parang magkapatid lang kami ni Beau." pagkumpirma niya.

I can feel how the heaviness of my heart lifted and my eyes twinkled.

Tuwing tinatanong ko si Beau, lagi niyang sinasabi na ako pa rin at walang iba.

Then why can't we be together? What's stopping him?!

Si Stephanie ang katabi ko sa bus. Pinangaralan ko siya roon sa ginawa niyang pagsisinungaling kaya hindi niya ako masyadong pinapansin. She keep on sharing her snacks to me though.

Si Beau naman at Mac ay hindi nagtabi. Malaki naman daw ang bus.

Pagdating namin doon ay hindi makakailang maganda nga ang lugar.

Visitors can enjoy the sight of a medieval-themed castle, colorful rides, tree houses connected by a hanging bridge, and a huge tower.

Gusto kong ikalma ang sarili sa ganito kagandang lugar but something is really bothering me.

"This is so IG worthy." ani Steph at panay picture na.

Si Andy naman ay nasa linya ng mga Terra kaya hindi ko na siya tinawag pa. He's probably guiding them.

I saw Beau near the tower with Paige. Mac on the other hand is also near the tower but he's sitting on the bench, reading a book, of course.

I sighed and joined Stephanie instead.
