Isaacs pov
"Dixie how is it that you wear the least clothing and are always the last one dressed" I said standing in her doorway "maybe because I actually try to look presentable Isaac. Besides I only need to grab shoes" she said tying the end of her braid and getting up from in front of her vanity.
"Just hurry up, Ricky and Leo are outside" I said leaving her room.

"What's wrong with you" I asked Ricky as I got in the passenger seat "he's upset because olivia has been texting him all weekend" Leo answered instead "damn. So when her dad finds out and sends someone to kill you what are you gonna do" I said as Dixie got in the car "I don't know. I've told her that we shouldn't talk" "but is rejecting her any better" "nope" "rejecting who" Dixie asked "Olivia" Leo told her "damn. Anyways can we pick up Nat" "you do know we're late because of you already" "yea so what's two more minutes gonna do" she said as Ricky waited for me to answer "fine whatever".

"Go find Henry" I told them when we pulled up "okay fine" they said together, groaning before walking away.

"So what are you gonna do about Olivia" Leo asked Ricky "I don't know" "have you told your dad" "no" "you should. He might help" "or he'll shove a gun in my face and tell me to deal with it myself" "maybe".

All the classes up until lunch were boring. It was like everyone wanted to talk to me but were too scared so they just stared and I hated that.

"Dixie, Natalie what do you want" I asked as they came to the table "can we leave early" Dixie asked "no what the hell do you think this is" "well there's a sale at the outlet mall that ends today and we would like to go" "I'm not just gonna let you leave school if you want to so bad call dad and I don't have my car anyways" "I'll just tell Henry to takes us" "you will not tell him you will ask him" "yea yea well I'll see you at home then" she said as they left.

"Isaac is that girl you're lab partner" Andrea asked as she followed me to class "yes" "for how long" "a couple of weeks" "Isaac" "Andrea leave me alone we aren't doing anything" "she's obviously into you she probably got herself paired with you" "she obviously has a boyfriend and I doubt she did" "I don't trust her" "I don't care can I go to class now" "fine" she said turning away from me finally.

Haileys pov
Isaac was almost ten minutes late. Mrs. Riley basically already gave me the news I've been dreading to come. We had a take home experiment to do.

"Partner you're late" I said as he sat by me "I was dealing with something" "huh okay. Well anyways we have a take home experiment" "when is it due" "Friday" "okay. Tomorrow afterschool we will go to my house and work on it" "why your house" "because I have to take my sister home and if your parents know who I am I'm almost sure they don't want me at your house" "well I guess you're not wrong. So tomorrow afterschool" "okay" he said and that was all for the rest of the class.

"Rory I'm going to his house" I said catching up to her "who's house. Wait Isaacs" "yes we have a project" "Hailey oh my gosh, you guys are like friends" "no we're classmates, it's a project not a date" "okay sure" "uggh now I have to tell Kyle and my mom and Derrick" "yup they're all gonna love this" she said laughing at my misery "haha Rory. anyways can I ride with you to school tomorrow" "yea of course. Do you need me to pick you up from his house" "no I'll ask Derrick to get me on his way home from work" "so what, is this all week" "tomorrow to Thursday" "okay then" she said.

"Hey mom" I said going inside "hey hon how was school" "it was alright. Is Derrick here" "yes in the room what's up" "I just need to ask you guys something" "okay well he should be out in a few" "okay I'll be right back" I told her going upstairs to put my stuff down. By the time I got back down, Derrick was sitting by mom.

"What's up honey" mom said "okay so I have a science project due Friday and it's a take home experiment. I wanted to ask if I could go to Isaacs house tomorrow through Thursday to work on it" "through, three days straight" "yes. I'll get a ride to school from Rory but I was gonna ask if you could pick me up on your way home from work, Derrick" "yea I could" "so I can go" I asked waiting for mom to answer "yes you can go, just please be careful" "I will thank you" "yea" she said before I went back upstairs.

That was done all I had to do now was tell Kyle.

"Hey babe" I said as he answered the phone "hey what's up" "nothing much I just needed to talk to you. So uh I'm going to Isaacs house Tuesday through Thursday for a project and I just wanted to let you know before you hear from anyone else" "you're letting me know" "yes" "oh uh thanks" "you sound upset" "a little" "why" "you keep telling me that this isn't going any further yet every week it seems further" "what does that mean" "well after the ride I thought that was it then you're his new lab partner and now you're going to his house for three days straight. I mean what's next are you staying at his house" "Kyle what the hell are you talking about. You're overreacting for no reason. I'm not staying at his house, I'm doing a project and going home" "sure" "I was just trying to respect what you asked for. He's my classmate, I don't have to tell you every time I have a project with a classmate okay" "okay Hailey, got it. See you tomorrow then" "okay" I said hanging up.

It was frustrating how jealous he got over me talking to another guy. I was never like that to him and that pissed me off. No matter how much I told him that I hated Isaac he couldn't tolerate us just trying to do a project.

I had to think of a project idea anyways. I didn't actually expect Isaac to help so I had to make sure I knew what we needed to finish.
