Haileys pov
This seemed to be moving a lot faster than I thought it would. When I went home Saturday, Isaac called again to check on me and we decided that we would go get lunch the next day.

"Hailey, Isaacs here" mom shouted before I came downstairs.

"Hi" I said when I got downstairs "hey, you ready" "yea".

When we got to the car he opened my door "are we back to this again" "this is a different reason" he said smiling at me before he closed the door and went around to his side.

We ended up going to get Chinese food.
"How long were you and Kyle together" he asked "oh a little over a year" "wow" "yea so I guess it was hard when we broke up" "oh. Uh it wasn't that hard for me so I'm sorry you had it worse" "it's fine. Weren't you with her for 9 months though" " yea but honestly I stopped liking her a while ago or well I never really liked her" "why" "I just didn't like the way she was. She was childish and she tried to get my attention in all the wrong ways" "what did she do" "slept with other guys" "oh. I'm sorry" "thanks".
"So you've known everyone all your life. Everyone that came to Sterling with you" "yea mostly. I've been close with Ricky since I was born, I was close with everyone else since about second grade. Well except Leo" "when did you meet Leo" "about two years ago. His parents died in a car crash and Rickys family sort of took him in and he just fell in with everyone" "how did they find him" "his parents crashed into their car. Leo met with them asking them not to make him pay for it since he didn't have the money and no where to go. They ended up taking him in sort of, he spoke to my dad and now he's basically part of the family" "that's really sweet of them" "yea. So how long have you known Rory and Jackson" "I've known Rory since I was six and we met Jackson in seventh grade. He came out to our class and we were the only ones who didn't treat him any differently and we've been friends since" "oh okay. Hailey I want you to be my girlfriend" "but" "I just need to know if you can handle it" "I- Isaac I really like you. I can handle whatever I need in order to be with you" "okay" "you don't have to worry about me I can handle a lot" "I know you can" he said laughing a little. The rest of the time we joked and talked. I had so many questions about him but I figured I'd save them for a later date.

After about three hours we left and drove back to my house.
"Can I ask something of you. If you don't like the idea that's totally fine because I don't want to ruin this before it even starts and trust me I really want this-" "Hailey ask the question" "oh sorry. Not that I am more concerned about what certain people think than I am with this, us. I just wanted to know if maybe we can keep this lowkey at school for a little while" "because of Kyle" "maybe. I uh just don't want him to be angry and then something happens" "okay" "Isaac if you're not okay with it please just say so" "no I'm okay with it. I understand, as long as there is an us I'm okay with it" "thank you" "yea".
"I had a lot of fun Isaac, thank you for this" "of course. I'll see you later then" "bye" "bye Hailey" he said before I got out and went into the house.

"Hey how was it" Rory asked when I got to school "it was really really good" "so you guys are a thing now" "uh yes but we're keeping it lowkey" "lowkey, why" "well I don't want to just flaunt a new relationship in Kyle's face" "who cares" "it's not that I care necessarily, I just would feel bad I don't know. Besides I don't want them to fight or anything" "is he okay with that" "he said he was" "is he actually though" "well I can't read his mind Rory" "okay. All I'm saying is that you wanted to be with him and now you are and you're hiding it. Kyle still has this weird hold over you that makes you hide other guys from him" "it's not a hold Rory" "if it's not then don't hide this.
