"Hey Tyler" I said answering the phone "yea I knocked some lady closed the door in my face but I'm outside" "okay I'm coming give me a minute" "okay" he said as I hung up.

He got dressed before I walked him to the door.
"Thanks again" I said "yea I'll see you tomorrow" "yea probably" "goodnight Rory" "goodnight Tyler" I said closing the door behind him.

"I called your father" Diana said "of course you did" "you have to listen to me" "actually I don't. Just because you're fucking my father doesn't make you my mother Diana" I said before going upstairs.

"Hey Rory. So how was your night" "it was good. Tylers really sweet" "wait sweet" "yea" "I thought you were just fucking around" "I thought I was then we talked" "talked about what" "my parents" "Rory what" "he asked about Diana. I mean I didn't go into the whole thing but I just told him she was my dads girlfriend and my parents weren't divorced" "so what now" "I don't know. We didn't talk much but it's like when he talks I don't want to hear anything else. I don't know Hailey what does that even mean" "it means you like him" "I don't want to like him" "sometimes you can't help it but maybe you don't, maybe it was just the moment" "hopefully. Well what about you. Aren't you going to Isaacs tonight" "ughh don't remind me. I don't even know what I'm gonna wear" "is it a formal dinner" "I don't think so, he said it's just going to be his family and his grandfather" "so just wear whatever or even better just ask him" "I will. I was going to last night but I didn't remember until after we got off the phone and I didn't want to bother him" "well you're just in luck he's here" she said pointing ahead as he and Ricky and someone else stood at his locker.

"Fuck off then. Hailey has a question" she said before he looked back at me "what's up" "oh I was going to ask what I should wear" "for tonight" he asked "yea" "what you have on is good" he said before I stepped back so he could actually see me "ripped jeans a sweatshirt is good" "yea. I'm wearing this" "well he's your grandfather" "so. Hails it's just a regular dinner, relax please" "that's what I told her" Rory said "fine I'm relaxed okay" "thank you" he said.

"Come on class" Rory said and I kissed Isaac quickly before we walked off.
