Isaacs pov
A little while after Hailey fell asleep on my shoulder, I heard a knock downstairs. Danielle was already in the guest house for the night so I'd have to get it. When I moved Hailey woke up.
"What time is it" "almost 9. Someone knocked on the door I'll be right back" I told her before she got up and started putting her clothes back on. I stared at her for a second before leaving. I heard Dixie on the phone as I passed her room then continued downstairs.
"Hello sir may we come in" the officer said. There were two of them at the door.
"Okay sure. Can I help you" "are you Isaac" "yea" "can you come with us" "for what" "you're being placed under arrest on a domestic charge" "can I just tell someone. My sister and girlfriend are upstairs" "okay".

Haileys pov
"Dixie" I heard Isaac shout from downstairs then a minute later she came into his room
"Hailey you might want to come downstairs, say bye to Isaac" "say bye" I asked getting up and following her out.

"Oh my god. What are you doing. You can't arrest him" "Hailey Hailey stop. I'll be fine I didn't do anything" he said "okay come on" the officer said as they all walked out.

"Dad. Yea it's Dixie. You and mom have to get home. Isaac was arrested. Yes. Okay. Okay".

"Tony's gonna pick us up my parents are going straight to the station" she said "okay" "Hailey he's gonna be fine even if he does-" she started but stopped then continued upstairs.
I knew she was gonna say even if he does go to prison because clearly that was a big possibility around here.

I changed and we waited downstairs for Tony. About 15 minutes later he got here then we went to the station.

"I want to talk to my son" Simon was saying as we reached him and Anna "sir he is in interrogation right now" the woman said "what is the charge for" "domestic assault" "domestic assault" "I'm sorry sir that's all we can give you right now" "bring me your captain" "he's not on shift now" "well tell him his shift starts early" he said in a low deep intimidating tone "sir I'll call him right now" she said before he and Anna walked over to us.

"Dixie what happened" Anna said "I don't know he went to answer the door then he called me and then that was it. Is he gonna need a lawyer or something" "I don't know, they won't let me see him" Simon said "but he's 18, they can send him to Rikers can't they" "they can" he said before I went to sit down.

"Honey how are you doing" Anna asked sitting next to me "I don't know really. A little nervous I guess" "yea, but he's gonna be okay. Simon is making sure of that" she said putting her arm around me.

"Devin" Simon said as a man walked over to us "Mr. Castellano how can I help you" "you can tell me why my son is sitting in an interrogation room" "it wasn't my arrest sir. I am told its domestic assault but like you that's all the information I have" "you're the captain of this fucking precinct and that's all the information you have" "yes sir I'm sorry" "I want to see him" "you know we can't do that while he's being interrogated and by law since he's 18 we're not obligated to have you there" "fuck the law. By law I'm not supposed to pull strings to get a certain someone a job at a precinct but here you are huh" "yes sir but I can't blatantly do that. As soon as they're done you will be able to see him and I will try to get as much information as I can until then" he said as Simon stared at him "go then" "yes sir" he said walking away.

Isaacs pov
I wasn't sure how long I've been sitting here but no one has came in and I was starting to get tired. This fucking light wasn't helping much either.
Almost ten minutes later two detectives came in.
"Do you know Sydney Oliver" one of them asked but I didn't answer. What did Sydney have to do with anything.
"When did you last see her" "Were you at her house today" "what is your relationship with Sydney Oliver" "what is your relationship with her son" "when was the last time you saw her son".
"Can we take your silence as an admittance of guilt" "no I didn't do anything" "look who's awake. We have reason to believe you did so you might want to start talking. We know what you're about, your family, but sometimes you slip up and you get caught" "you don't know me" "we know what you did to Ms. Oliver" "did to her. I didn't do anything to her" "let's start again then maybe if you cooperate this will be over quickly. What is your relationship with Ms. Oliver" "I'm uh, we're friends" "friends" "yes she's my cousins girlfriend. He's in prison. She's like a sister" "and her son" "I look after them I'm pretty close with him" When did you last see Ms. Oliver" "today" "today when" "today around 2" "where" "her house" "for what" "I took her son somewhere" "where" "his friends house" "which friend" "I don't know she just gave me an address. What happened to Sydney" "we're asking the questions. How long were you at Ms. Oliver's house" "fifteen twenty minutes" "was there anyone else there with you" "no just me her and her son" "did she tell you she was having someone over" "no" "what sort of relationship do you have with her boyfriend" "my cousin" "no not that one" "she doesn't have a boyfriend" "well he says you were last to see her and he found her how you left her" "what am I supposed to have done" "do you know what a domestic assault is" "I didn't hurt Sydney. I would never touch her. She doesn't have a boyfriend. You can ask her what happened" "as of now we can't. She's been unconscious for the last few hours" one of them said before setting an open folder in front of me. It contained pictures of her and she was beat up pretty bad "I definitely didn't do that when I left she was fine" "well when he got there she wasn't" "I don't know what happened I can't tell you about something I didn't do" "how often do you see Ms. Oliver and her son" "at least once a week" "once a week. So maybe you found out she had a boyfriend didn't like that took it out on her" "what no. I'd like to speak with my father" "that's not possible right now" "make it possible. I'm done".

Haileys pov
"So he's being interrogated for domestic assault of a Sydney Oliver" the captain said coming back over to us and handing Simon a file "Sydney, he wouldn't hurt her" "apparently when her boyfriend found her she was unconscious on the living room floor. That's the picture" he said as we looked at the file. Her entire face was bruised and she looked almost lifeless.
"I want to talk to him" Simon said "Mr. Cas-" "now" "yes sir" he said turning away from us.
"My son didn't do this Simon he knows never to touch a woman" Anna said "I know he didn't do this. I will fix it love" he said as the captain called him over.

Isaacs pov
"Leave us" dad said as I put my head up.
"Dad. I didn't do it" "I know. What did you say to them" "nothing really. They said her boyfriend said I did it. She doesn't have another boyfriend" "okay" "dad I need you to get Jack, he's at a friends house" "bring him here" "yes I don't want him to see his mom" "okay I can do that" "the address is in my phone" "okay. Isaac it's gonna be okay, we're gonna get you out of here" "I know. How's mom" "scares" "Hailey and Dixie" "the same" "okay. When Jack gets here I need to see him" "okay. Hang in there" he said getting up and leaving.

Haileys pov
"What did he say" I asked "he asked how you all were and he asked me to get Jack. He's okay" "okay" "I'll be back" he said leaving.

Twenty minutes later he came back with Jack.
"Hi Jack" Dixie said as he came over to us "where's uncle Isaac" "he's uh- you're gonna get to see him soon" "okay. Hi Hailey" "hey Jack how are you" "good. How come we're here" "uh we're gonna see Isaac" "what is he doing here" "he's talking with someone but he'll be done soon" "okay" he said sitting on the chair between me and Dixie. He was so small and innocent and the way he kicked his legs without a care in the world was so cute.

Isaacs pov
"Stand up sir. Hands" another guy said as he opened the door. I held my hands out in front of him as he latched the hand cuffs onto them "is this necessary. I'm going to talk to a kid" "you're still a suspect in the case" "fine".

When I got out of the room Jack was sitting with Dixie and Hailey while mom and dad talked to the captain a little further down the hall.

"Hi Jack" I said bending down in front of him "hey uncle Isaac. What are we doing here" "uh just trying to fix something" "why are you wearing those" he asked "because I'm sort of in trouble" "those are what daddy wears when I go see him. Are you going to jail too" "no buddy I'm not. I'm gonna try to do everything I can to stay with you" "promise" "I promise. Listen I have to get back so you're gonna go home with Dixie okay" "how come I'm not gonna go home with mommy" "well mommy's sick right now so shes trying to get better" "where is she" "the doctors. But we'll both see you in the morning okay" "okay. Bye uncle Isaac" he said getting off the seat and wrapping his little arms around my neck "bye bud. Be good okay" "I will" he said letting go before I stood up.

Hailey and I walked a few steps away as he started talking to Dixie.
"Are you okay" she asked "yea I'm good. A little hungry but good" "so what are they saying" "her boyfriend said I did it. I know she doesn't have a boyfriend, he probably did something to her" "is she" "no shes  unconscious but they said she'll be fine. I have to wait for her to wake up so I can get out of here" "yea hopefully it's soon. I'm sort of freaking out sorry" "don't be sorry. I'll be out soon. You should go home and get some rest please" "but I-" "baby please. I'll see you at school" "what if you're not out by then" "I will be please go get some rest it's late" "okay" "sir times up" the officer said behind me "I'll see you at school" I told her kissing her before going back to the interrogation room.

Haileys pov
"Hailey, are you ready" Simon asked "yea sorry" "no worry. Come on everyone" he said.
We dropped Dixie Anna and Jack off at their house then went to mine.
"Hailey he's going to be fine. I'm doing everything I can" he said when we got there "thank you sir" "I'll walk you in" he said turning off the car as we both got out.

"Hello Simon" Derrick said as he and mom came out of the kitchen "hello. Sorry to keep her so late" "no problem where's Isaac" mom asked "the station" "the police station? For what" "he was arrested. We're fixing it as soon as possible" "what was he uh arrested for" "they think he hurt someone. We're waiting until we can get some answers so we can get him out of there" "oh gosh. I'm sorry" "yes. Well I have to get back goodnight" "goodnight Simon" she said as he left.

"He was arrested" "yea. His cousins girlfriend was hurt and they think he did it" "he didn't thought right" "no" "good. Are you okay" "yea. I'll be better when he's home. I'm tired though and I kind of just want this day to be over so I'm gonna go upstairs" "of course hon. Goodnight" "goodnight guys" I said going upstairs. I ended watching tv until I went to sleep.
