"So when will you guys know the date" Rory asked "not sure. I hate this" "you know this isn't your fault" "I'm not mad at myself anymore I'm just really stressed. I hate him you know and I just didn't think I'd have to be spending every weekend with him anytime soon" "yea I get it. I'm sorry Hailey" "thank you" I said as she hugged me.
"Everything okay" Isaac asked from behind me before I turned around "I'll see you at lunch" Rory said walking away "uh not really" "what happened" "well the judge called my mom and said that my dad asked for a trial. He wants visitation rights" "he can't get them can he" "well uh he can if he turned his life around and technically their divorce had nothing to uh do with me so the restraining order and no visitation rights can be annulled" "so when is it" "I'm not sure. The judge is supposed to call us when it's set" "I'm sorry baby" "thank you" I said kissing him before grabbing my stuff. He walked me to class then went to his own.

Jackson left early for lunch and me and Rory just waited.
"So are you going to Isaacs today" she asked "yea" "is he even here" "no he left but he's coming back" "oh okay. Do you get nervous" "about what" "about him, what he does" "yea. Science was pretty boring we got assigned another project but it was in class. I met up with Rory and then we walked to the gym together.

You can watch practice then afterwards we can try you out or if you want to just jump in if you get it. Don't worry they're not that difficult. And I guess you can stretch while you wait" I said before they walked away.
"Well this is going to be interesting. What if they're actually good" Rory asked "then I guess I have to put them on the squad" "uggh well at least we know what they're here for" "I mean she's Isaacs ex I can see why she doesn't like me so I'm not gonna provoke her to do anything" "okay then".

I looked over at Andrea and Morgan every few minutes while we ran through routines and tumbling sequences.
"Okay tomorrow we're off. I'll see everyone at the game" I said when practice ended.

"Okay so uh what do you guys want to start with" I said as Rory and I walked over to them "doesn't matter" "well did you get any of the routines "not really" "uh okay can you tumble" "yea" "okay great we'll start there" I said as me and Rory went to the bleachers. They actually weren't bad. They were able to do the basics, cartwheels, roundoffs, handsprings, but they couldn't do aerials or anything that required leaving the ground.

"So Rory is gonna show you guys a simple cheer I just have to know how fast you can pick something like that up" "okay".

Rory joined them and showed them a simple one.
'F-I-G-H-T. Fight, fight, Mavericks, fight' the words were really easy but I was just seeing if they could actually get the movements and just my luck they did well enough to be on the team.
"Okay" "so" Andrea said before my phone rang, damnit Isaac "one second sorry".

"Hey" I said "hey where are you I've been outside the locker room for ten minutes "I'm still in the gym, I'll be out in a few minutes promise" "okay" "alright bye" I said hanging up.

"Sorry. Uh you did good-" I started before Andrea cut me off "who was that, Isaac" "doesn't matter. I'll talk to coach Lindsey in the morning and she should have everything ready for you" "so it was him" "you're on the team. So I'll see you both later" I said avoiding her questions before me and Rory got up to go to the locker room.

"So was it Isaac" "yea but I wasn't gonna tell her that" "so they're really on the team" "I couldn't say no they weren't bad and we do need two members" "I guess. I don't like her or her friend they always stare and it's so annoying" "yea I know".
