Isaacs pov
Me and Gio we're driving back to my house when a police car came up behind us, pulling us over.
"Please step out of the car sir" "for what" "step out of the car" the officer said as his partner stood behind him and I decided it wouldn't be in my best interest to resist.

"Turn around. Isaac Castellano you are under arrest for the suspicion of murder. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you but we know you can afford one" he said putting the handcuffs on as tight as possible. Gio got out of the car going around to the drivers said.
"I'll talk to your dad" he said getting in the car but he didn't drive off until the officers drove off with me in the back.

Gios pov
"Giovanni come in. Mr. and Mrs. Castellano are in the living room" "thank you Danielle" I said walking by her.

"Hello Giovanni" his mom said turning to me "hello Mrs. Castellano" "Isaac isn't here right now" "yea I was just with him that's actually why I'm here. Isaac was arrested" "for what" "murder I think" "murder, Isaac" his dad asked "yes sir" "is he at the precinct" "they're probably on their way still" "okay" he said as he got up and I followed him out of the door.

Isaacs pov
"Where were you December 2nd" "I'm not sure what day that was" "Monday December 2nd I suggest you remember" "well I'm assuming school the first part of the day and if I remember correctly I went home" "that's it" "I think so" "the rest of the day you didn't leave the house and you weren't with anyone" "I went to my girlfriends house later on she got some bad news" "what time was that" "some time after 10" "you sure" "no that was a month and a half ago" "Ron Nellic, do you know him" "maybe, remind me" "he framed you for a domestic assault against a Sydney Oliver" "yea I remember" "so we have motive" "I didn't kill him" "there's no proof that you didn't" "and I don't think you have proof that I did. I have alibis" "we'll see if they check out".

Gios pov
"Where is he" Simon asked as we reached the front desk "interrogation sir. The captain is in his office he will be out soon" "I want him out here now" "yes sir one second" she said turning to the phone.
"Sir, Mr. Castellano is here about his son".

"Sir we can't jump over this one it's murder" the captain said as he walked up to us "my son didn't murder anyone" "that we don't know for sure. We're conducting our investigation but there is nothing I can do here" "when can I talk to him" "not for a little while" "fine".

Haileys pov
"Hey mom so I've been thinking" "yea" "I think I'm gonna go on the trip with Tom. Rory said she'll come if I go and he keeps asking about it" "are you sure" "yea. Well unless you don't want me to go" "no it's up to you" "okay then yea" "okay well just let me know the details later" she said as we heard a knock on the door and I got up to get it.

"Are you Hailey Anderson" the officer said "uh yes" "we need to take you down to the station" he said as mom came up behind me "excuse me she didn't do anything what do you need" she asked "she is not under arrest, we have a few questions about her boyfriends whereabouts, Isaac Castellano" "is he okay" I asked "he's fine for now" "did he do something" "ma'am please just come with us" "I'm coming with her" mom said as the officer nodded.

When we got to the station Simon and Gio were sitting there and were both surprised to see me.
"What are you doing" Simon asked the officers with me "we have to question her sir" "can I go in with her" mom asked "she is 18 ma'am" "okay" she said as one officer opened the door and I went inside.

A few minutes later a detective came in and sat in front of me.
"December 2nd. Your boyfriend claims to have been at your house that night" "he was" "what time" "late I don't know" "does 10 sound accurate" "yea around that" "why was he at your house" "I got some bad news about my dad and asked him to come" "what bad news" "that he got visitation rights from the court" "you got this news after 10 at night" "no I got it earlier but that's when I decided to call him" "why would you call him so late" "I needed time to process things myself" "hm. What do you know about what your boyfriend does" "what do you mean" "his other activities" "I don't know what your talking about" "okay, before your house where was he" "I don't know we hadn't talked since school, I'm assuming home" "after school is that where he said he was going" "he didn't say. He doesn't tell me every single thing" "but I bet he tells you somethings" "such as" I asked "a crime or another, you tell me" "unless you're asking about a specific crime I don't have to say anything" "don't risk your freedom on him. While he walks you could end up behind bars. We got one of you heart throbs already" "what is that supposed to mean" "one of his last girls decided to protect him and had to serve time. Obstructing a police investigation is a crime sweetheart" "I've told you what I know" "you sure, would you like to think about that" "no. If we're done can I go" "sure but don't leave the station yet" he said as he opened the door and I went out.
"Mr. Castellano can I speak to you" he said as Simon went in the room after me.
"What did you say" Gio asked "nothing" "nothing at all, where he was" "he was at my house late that night he never actually told me what he was doing" "okay good" "how is it looking" "so far fine" "Gio can we talk for a second" "yea" he said as we walked away as mom talked to Derrick on the phone.

"The detective said something about one of his last girlfriends serving time" "oh. You will have to talk to him about that" "Gio tell me something please" "I can't but just know that wasn't his fault and she wasn't really his girlfriend" "so what was she" "they uh hung out" "oh" "sorry. Just talk to him about it" "was it bad" "no. Look as long as you didn't say anything wrong you'll be fine" "I don't know what wrong would be" "you'll be fine" "okay".

Isaacs pov
"Look if you don't have proof you can't hold me" I said as the detective walked back in "you don't know what we have" "I know you don't have proof because I didn't do it. And since you didn't come in here with your cocky ass attitude as usual I'm assuming my alibis played out" "we still have time to find something" "technically you can only hold me for a day otherwise you have no case". He knew I was right and I knew nothing was gonna happen. We wouldn't have spent three hours cleaning up and talking to that girl if we were just going to get caught. They arrested me under suspicion which basically means they were trying to pin something on me.
"Can I at least know what time it is" I asked the detective "no" "can I have some water or some food" "no" "you kind of can't say no to that" "fine I'll get you water" he said leaving.

Haileys pov
"What time is it" I asked Gio as I leaned on his shoulder "2:18" "how long have we been here" "since 11" "fuck" "yea. You hungry" "a little" "I'll get some chips or something" he said getting up. Mom and Simon were talking to the captain about how long we would have to be here and why I couldn't leave. Apparently I was key to the investigation since he claimed to be at my house. Mom talked to Derrick and he said he would come if we were still here in the morning since the boys were in bed sleeping.

"Here you go" he said handing me a bag of cool ranch Doritos and a water and sitting back down "thank you. How long do you think he'll be here" "probably the whole day tomorrow, they're probably trying to find something that ties him to this" "do you think they will" "I don't even know what it is but Isaacs not an idiot and he's thorough so if he did it, I doubt they'll be able to find something" "but do you think he could've killed someone" "do I think he did it or do I think killing someone is something he can do" "both" "I think if there was no other choice he could kill someone without hesitation, I'm not sure if he did this" "that was the day I learned I had to stay at my dad's house. I called him and he didn't answer or come until 4 hours later and we got in a fight because he wouldn't tell me where he was, could he have been doing this" "wait you didn't tell the detective this right because this could send him to prison" "no I didn't" "okay. Look I don't know how this looks for him but I know he wouldn't want anything to happen to you. If you want to tell them, do it" "no I don't want to do that to him and I don't care what happens to me, if I can help I will" "okay. Do you want to stay all day tomorrow I'll stay with you" "thanks.
