"Okay everyone in the car and Hailey, Isaac is outside" Derrick said coming inside from putting the bags in "really" I said going outside.

"Hey babe, you didn't have to come" I said hugging him "yea I did I just wanted to say bye" "well thanks" "and I brought you this, since you left it at my house" he said holding out a hoodie "ahh yes thank you" I said snatching it excitedly. It was his favorite one and I loved it and he finally told me I could have it back but I left it last night. "You're welcome" he said kissing me before everyone else came outside and the boys ran up to him.

"You guys excited" "yea. When we get back can we come swim at your house" Michael asked "yea sure" "come on everyone, bye Isaac" "bye Mrs. Moore, have a good trip babe" "thank you" I said kissing him again before we went to the car and he left.

"Is Kat gonna be there" I asked mom as we went to pick up our bags "yea and Aunt Carly" "okay good".
Katherine and I were close when we were younger but we stopped talking as much as we did. Now every time we see each other we always have so much stuff to catch up on and I haven't seen her for two and a half years.

"Mom, dad we're here" mom shouted as we got inside before grandma came around the corner.
"Hello guys, how was your trip" she asked hugging each of us tightly "good" "very good, I'm getting lunch prepared now" "is Carly here yet" "they are on their way. They are driving from Illinois" "oh okay" "well how has everyone been, Hailey" she asked smiling "good. Schools great and uh I've started staying at my fathers house every other weekend" "oh, how's that going" she said her expression changing to concerned "uh it's okay, he lives with his girlfriend and her daughter so it's not just us" "well that's good" "yea" "boys how have you been" "good" "why don't you help me finish lunch" she said before they went to the kitchen.
Derrick and I took the bags upstairs and to the rooms. For two people they had a big house with a lot of guess rooms. There were four so Kat and I would share the boys would share mom and Derrick and aunt Carly.

"Hailey" Kat said opening the door to the room before I sprang up to hug her "it's been forever" "I know I missed you guys like crazy" "us too. So how's everything been how's college" "uh it's okay a little stressful at the beginning but I'm getting the hang of it" "and you and Elijah" "we broke up" "what happened" "well when we got to Florida it was two weeks before school started and we were good, probably better than ever since we were staying together most nights. When school started I was a lot more busy than him since I'm a med student. He was always mad at me for being busy and I was frustrated that all he did was party and skip classes then to top it all off, one of his friends told me he was cheating on me. I didn't want to just accuse him because if I was wrong it'd make things between us worse so I asked to borrow his phone since mine was dead and he was really hesitant about it so I asked why. He didn't want to tell me so he eventually just let me use it and as I was using it, she texted him asking if I had a late class and if he could come over" "oh my god I'm sorry Kat" "I mean it's fine. It sucked for a while but you have to move on eventually. What about you and Kyle, it'll be two years in a few months right" "well we actually broke up too" "why" "the first time, he was just really jealous all the time, so much so he tried to get a guy kicked out of school. The second time he leaked my nudes so I would break up with my boyfriend. Both times were actually about the same guy and we're still happy and I'm really happy" "is this guys name Isaac" she said now noticing the necklace as I laughed a little "yes it is" "well let me see him" she said before I showed her my Instagram.
"You guys are really cute, I love this and you wear Gucci and Versace now" "ha yea, thanks to him" "is he Italian" "yea" "hm he looks it, a lot" "I'm gonna tell you something so don't freak out" "okay" "he's in the mob" "the Italian mob" she asked surprised "yes" "oh my god does your mom know" "yea her and Derrick, it's not really a secret just don't say anything in front of grandma or grandpa" "yea I won't they'll freak out" "yea" "well I'm glad you're happy Hailey" "thanks".
"So how's everything else" "it's okay. I stay with my dad every other weekend" "seriously, what happened" "he got his shit together and then asked for a hearing with the judge" how do you like it" "I don't know. He lives with his girlfriend and her daughter who is 15 so I sort of hang out with her but I hate being around him. He acts like everything that happened didn't and I'm gonna treat him like my dad. It's just frustrating, he's a stranger to me" "yea I get it. Wait is that a tattoo" "yea" "when did you get it" "a few weeks ago with Isaac" "did it hurt" "not as bad as I imagined but yea" "look at you a changed woman" "yea I guess Kat".

"Girls dinner" mom shouted from the stairs before we got up to go.

"Hailey you ready" Kat asked "yea coming" I said grabbing my phone as we headed downstairs. We were going to pick up groceries since mom and aunt Carly wanted to cook a big dinner tonight.

We pulled up the list grabbing things off the shelves and even picking up a few things we wanted.
"So when's your graduation" Kat asked "May 23rd" "I might try to make it" "really" "yea I wanna see you graduate and I'd love to meet your boyfriend" "well then good" "and how's Rory doing" "good, she's settling right now, she just started dating" "that's good for her, I always hoped she would find someone good, she's a sweet girl" "yea and I think he's really good for her".

"Thank you girls" mom said when we brought the bags in "you're welcome" Kat said as my phone started ringing and I went out to the backyard.

"Hey babe" I said answering the FaceTime as I sat on the patio chair "hey how's your day" "good we just got back from the grocery store how was your day" "alright, I'm sorry I didn't call yesterday I had somethings to take care of then I went to see Anthony then when I got home I fell asleep" "oh it's okay really, are you okay" "yea a little tired but I don't have anything to do this weekend as of now" "okay good, I miss you" "I miss you too. Hows everything going" "good. My cousin and aunt are here. We're having a dinner tonight and tomorrow me and Kat are going to find something to do" "okay well that's fun. What time will you be back" "me and Derrick are coming in pretty late Sunday so I'll see you at school" "okay cool. Well I was just calling to check in and apologize for not calling you" "don't worry about it babe really" "I'll talk to you later okay" "okay bye" "bye, love" he said before hanging up.

"Was that him" Kat asked "yea" "well listen I found something for us to do" "what" "go to a party" "you found a party" "yea I remember meeting a girl last time I was here we talked for a while and she said there's a party tomorrow night" "okay then" "yup".
