Haileys pov
First thing in the morning I packed so I could leave for the weekend.
"I'll see you guys Monday okay" I said as I hugged Sam and Michael "okay. Bye Hailey" "Bye mom, Derrick" "bye hon" mom said "text when you get there and be careful and if anything happens you can come home" Derrick said "I will" I said before leaving.
I checked my phone before I pulled off but nothing, no message or call from Isaac but there was one from Rory.

"Hey" she said answering the phone "hey what's up" "nothing are you at your dads" "no I'm just leaving my house" "oh okay. Did you talk to Isaac yet" "no. He didn't even call" "Hailey I'm sorry" "no it's okay. I just really hope we can get past this" "aren't you guys supposed to be going somewhere" "we were but I don't know now" "oh okay" "well I'll call you later okay" "alright talk to you later" she said before I hung up.

I pulled up to a one story brick house, it wasn't ugly or bad or anything. There were two cars outside, nothing extravagant. Everything was just average.
I texted my mom, got out, grabbed my bag, and went to knock on the door.

"Hailey come in" he said opening the door "hi" "how are you" "I'm good, how are you" "good. Uh Katie got your room set up, it's a little small but we already had Elenas room set up" "I'm sorry Katie, Elena" "oh sorry. Katie is my girlfriend and Elena is her daughter" "oh okay" "Elena is probably still sleep but Katie is just in the room" "oh that's fine I'm just gonna put this away" "oh yes your bag I'll take it and show you to your room" "thanks" I said following him down the hall. My room thankfully was the last down the hall.

"Do you need anything, are you hungry" he asked "uh no thanks though" "yea I'll just be in my room if you do and uh make yourself at home" "okay" I said before he closed the door and left. There was a bed and a dresser and a tv and some towels and washcloths in the room. It was pretty small but I'd only be here two days a week so I could manage.

I called Rory back and she didn't answer the first time but she called me back 5 minutes later.

"Hey how's it going" she asked "uh alright I'm in this room" "how is he, is he weird" "not really but I still don't want to be here" "give it a chance" "he has a girlfriend and she has a daughter and they live here" "really. How old is the daughter" "I don't know I didn't ask but I think she's sleep" "oh okay. When are you leaving" "Monday morning. Usually I would leave Sunday night but since I didn't come last night I'll give him the extra night" "okay" "so how are you and Tyler" "uh we're fine. We're going out tonight" "out where" "hotel" "oh, your parents are over you bringing him home huh" I asked "yea I don't want to be here anyways and I'm avoiding going to dinner with them. Besides I'm trying something" "trying something" I asked "yea on Tyler" "what" "not sure yet but I thought I'd spice it up a little" "uh do I want to know" "probably not" "okay then. Well have fun I guess" "oh I will and you too" "yea I'll try Rory" "bye Hailey" "bye".

I went to the kitchen to see what they had and found stuff to make a sandwich.
"Hi" someone said as I looked up "hi" "I'm Katie" "yea I've heard" "oh uh well we're glad to have you stay with us. Your dads been excited about this all week" "oh uh yea" "so how's your mom" "she's fine" "and how's school, your dad tells me you're on the cheer squad" "yea I am" "how do you like it" "actually Katie we don't have to make small talk" "Hailey I was just-" she said as he came out if the room "no it's fine I get it. I'm gonna finish this in my room" "Hailey" he said "I know but I just want to go to the room please" "okay" he said as I continued. It was almost 4 and I still hadn't seen this Elena, who the hell spends all day in the room.

"Hailey can I come in" he said "sure".
"You know Katie is only trying to be nice" "okay" "just give her chance" "give her a chance, I haven't even given you a chance. I don't know you and I haven't known you for nine years probably longer" "Hailey I'm sorry" "I just need time" "I get it. Well uh dinners ready" he said getting up as I followed him out.

"Dinner looks good Katie thank you" "you're welcome" she said as another girl, I'm assuming Elena walked out from the hallway. She looked 15 or 16 and not like a kid like I thought she would be.

"Hi I'm Elena" she said sitting next to me "I'm Hailey" "ah yea he said you were coming" "yea how old are you" "15" "okay" "and you are" "17" "oh. So why are you just now seeing your dad" "uh it just didn't happen until now" "yea but what happened" "I'm sure he'll tell you eventually" I said as he cleared his throat "uh so Hailey what do you have planned for winter break" Katie asked "uh I might go out with my boyfriend or some friends" "oh okay" "so you and Rory are still good friends" he asked "yea we are" "I mean I know it's not my place to say but I always thought maybe she wasn't a great influence on you" "well you're right, it's not your place to say and you only knew her when she was 8" "okay that's fair" he said.

"Well thank you for dinner I'll be back later" I said getting up "where are you going" he said "to my boyfriends house. I'll be back" "well at least take a key" "okay thanks" "yea well be careful" "okay".

I hadn't gotten a text or a call from Isaac all day and now I was worried. I didn't want to break up with him, I felt guilty actually and I missed him.

"Hi Mrs. Castellano" "hi Hailey how are you" "I'm good. Uh is Isaac here" "yea he's sleeping upstairs. He had a long day but you can go up" "are you sure" "yea. He's been sleep for a while and dinners almost ready anyways" "okay thanks" "and if you can tell Dixie she has piano after dinner" "yea sure" "thank you Hailey" she said as I continued upstairs.

"Dixie your mom said you have piano after dinner" I told her peering into her room "okay thanks".

When I went into his room he was laying back in joggers and no shirt with one arm behind his head. He was doing that thing that boys do, you know the hand in the waistband of their pants but not in a sexual way, and god it was so fucking hot and his mouth was slightly open. The tv was on but the volume was low and there was a gun on his side table with the clip out. His chest was moving steadily with his breathing and he looked so peaceful.

I went to the other side of the bed sitting down and facing towards him as I crossed my legs.
"Isaac" I said lowly as I put my hand on his abs and he slowly opened his eyes.

"Hey" I said when he was fully awake "Hailey. I'm really glad you're here" "yea. I'm sorry. I should've trusted you one hundred percent. I know you aren't like anyone is saying and I should've listened to myself. Ever since we started dating you haven't shown me other wise and I think I thought you were too good to be true" "Hails stop. I'm sorry, I get it. With who I am and what I do I know the stuff people tell you is more believable but I care about you and I really like you. Yea some of the stuff they said is true but none of it is true with you. I know you don't know that much about me, I've only told you what I thought you needed to know but I know you might have more questions" "no it's fine we're still new and everything and I really like you too" "I got you something" "you didn't have to" "yes I did" he said reaching for a box and handing it to me.
It was a gold necklace with a thin chain and a pendant that read 'Isaac'.
"I want you to know that no matter how many fights or whatever we have I am yours and you are mine okay" "Isaac I love you" "I love you too, come here" he said as I straddled his waist and bent down as he wrapped his arms around my back.
"So listen I don't know if you're still up for it but I was thinking we can go to Rio for a few days" "Rio in Brazil" "yea" "yea I'm up for it" "good. We leave Tuesday then" "Tuesday" "yea I have to be back on Friday" "what's Friday" "no Saturday is Jacks birthday" "oh okay. Then cool we leave Tuesday" "good" "also I wanted to know if you wanted me to the back the dress or purse or shoes" "why would I want you to take anything back" "well I didn't buy it" "I know, I did. I want to buy you things and whatever I do, I don't want it back and I don't want you to feel guilty about me buying it okay" "okay thank you" "you're welcome" he said before I lifted my head to kiss him.
"You're mom said dinners almost ready by the way" I told him "are you staying to eat" "I'll stay for a little bit I ate before I came over here" "oh okay. How's that going anyways" "alright. It's just weird because I don't know them" "them" he asked "oh his girlfriend and her daughter live with him. The daughter is like 15 and I don't know if he expects to get along with them but it's just awkward and I want to go home" "well one more day baby" "yea. Your mom said you had a long day, you okay" "oh yea I'm okay I just had a lot to do and I'm a little exhausted don't worry about it" "okay" I said kissing him again before I sat up "I can't wait to go away with you" he said as his eyes trailed over my body "me too babe" he said before I got up and we went downstairs.
