Haileys pov
"Hey Rory are you okay" I asked when I met up with her before class "uh yea" "no you're not what happened" "well me and Benny broke up but I'm okay" "why" "I guess when we started going out we just realized we weren't for each other" "I'm sorry Rory" "it's okay really. How was it with Isaac last night" "it was good. We made out and uh I felt it" "you felt it" "yup right through his joggers" "was he" "oh my god yes, huge" "but you guys didn't" "nope the boys were upstairs. I want to so bad Rory" "damn I bet" "another thing. Remember when we went to Clubhouse before school started and I told you that this guy slammed someone's head into the bar" "yea vaguely" "that was him" "Isaac, really" "yea" "wow, what a coincidence" "that's what I said. Anyways have you seen Jackson" "yea when he got here, then he went to 'study for a test' but I'm pretty sure he's going to meet with Christopher" "oh yea makes sense".

"Hey Hailey" someone said as we reached my locker "Leo hi" "uh I'm supposed to tell you that Isaac has something to take of this morning and he'll be here by lunch" "is he okay. What is he doing" "he should be fine he's just meeting with someone" "okay. Thanks" "yea" he said before leaving.

And with that, all types of thoughts started running through my mind. Was he gonna be okay, was whoever he is meeting with dangerous, was he gonna have to shoot someone, who was he with, what happened. Lunch was four hours away, I couldn't wait that long.

Classes seemed to be moving slower than ever. Second period had just finished but it felt like the four hours have already passed.

"Two vanilla and one strawberry" Isaac said sitting three milkshakes in the middle of our table and kissing my cheek "thanks Isaac" Rory and Jackson said before I turned to him.
"Yea thanks. Are you okay" "I'm fine. Still standing" he said "what was it" "I'm okay. We'll talk later yea" "yea sure" I said before he went to his table.

"You have a very amazing boyfriend" Rory said as I turned back to them slurping down their milkshakes "yea I do".

"Hey so what happened this morning" I asked Isaac as we walked to my car "uh I was just fixing the thing that happened with Dixie" "is she okay" "thankfully yea. It was just one of the guys we know threw a party that she went to" "you hurt him" "no I uh talked to him" "really" "yes, I didn't touch him" "okay. I was just worried" "I know. I should've called" "no it's okay it wasn't your fault or anything it's just that I was" I said before he turned me to him kissing me as he held the back of my head. I let out an involuntary groan as he pulled back.
"Don't worry I do intend to finish what you started" he said smirking at me before he left to go to his own car. Wow this man was sexy.

Isaac and I have officially been dating for two weeks and we haven't had sex yet but I wasn't disappointed or upset, I was just anxious. Isaac didn't come to the game tonight so he said I should stay over so I hurried and showered.
"Are you staying at Isaacs hon" mom asked as I pulled on my shoes "yea why" "I just needed to know if I had to drop the boys off somewhere" "oh I didn't know you were leaving. Do you need me to stay I could just have Isaac come over" "no honey go. Have fun" "are you sure" "yes, you're not a nanny go to your boyfriends house" "thanks mom I'll see you later then" "okay" she said as I left.

"Hi Mrs. Castellano" I said as I walked into the living room "hello Hailey how are you" "I'm good" "Isaac actually is not here right now" "oh really. He said it was okay for me to come" "no of course it is. He had to take care of something but he should be home soon" "oh okay".
"So how is everything going" "with Isaac and I" I asked her "yes" "oh really good. I'm really happy with him" "that's good. I can tell he is too, with you. When he was going out with Andrea he was just so cold to everyone even with her but I didn't blame him she was, excuse me for saying this, a horrible girl. She had no sense of respect for anything except partying" "oh well I'm glad you actually do like me" "yes I do. Anyways make yourself at home. If you need anything just ask Danielle" she said as Mr. Castellano came downstairs.
"Oh Hailey how are you" he asked "I'm well Mr. Castellano, you" "I'm good. Isaac should be on his way" "okay. I'm just gonna put this in his room" I said gesturing to the bag in my hand before going upstairs.
Surprisingly enough I'd never been in Isaacs room, this was actually the first time I've stayed at his house.
I couldn't tell if it was what I expected or not because I actually had no clue what I even thought it would look like.
The walls were a dark grey, the bed was white and everything else was mostly neutral colors. He was neat, a lot neater then I expected. Everything had a place and an order, I only glanced but even his closet was perfectly set up and the things around his room were too. He had a desk with a laptop and some other work things which were, like everything else, in order. There was a gun on the desk too with the clip taken out of it and a box of bullets next to it. A table next to his bed held a few things too. A ring with maybe a family symbol on it, a pocket knife, two tv remotes and a PlayStation remote, and oddly enough, a pair of glasses. Huh who knew he wore glasses.
I opened another door, expecting a closet but instead it was an entire bathroom. It was amazing. It had everything a master bathroom would. There was a huge walk in shower on one walk and a tub on the other. The vanity with the sink was huge too.
Like his room he kept this clean too. I couldn't tell if this was him or Danielle or something but everything was just so in place.

When I left his room, I heard his mom and dad down the hall in a office which meant I was going to be downstairs alone.

I went to the kitchen grabbing a glass to get something to drink when Danielle came up behind me.
"I can get that for you Ms. Anderson" she said startling me a little "Danielle call me Hailey and I can get it I promise" "oh okay. Well I'm here if you need anything" she said standing in the kitchen as I finished the cup of water. As soon as I put it in the sink Isaac busted through the door stopping sharply and closing it behind him almost as if someone was behind him.
"Hailey hey" "Isaac you're bleeding" "yes I uh- Danielle take Hailey upstairs and tell my father to come downstairs now, immediately please" he said "what happened" I asked him "Danielle now" he shouted before she rushed me upstairs and then went to get his dad.

Isaacs pov
I actually planned on going to the game tonight but Leo and Ricky called saying they were at the Florentinos so I went there.
The Valeros and Florentinos have sort of been going at it for a few years. Last week, they stole 8 thousand dollars in money and supply from the Valeros and for some reason Mr. Valero sent Ricky and Leo to come up with a solution.

"Mr. Florentino may we come in" I asked as he opened the door "sure what is this about" "I advise you don't play stupid with me" "so you're here about the money" "yes. Give it back to them" "it's all money they scammed me out of and I think I might just keep it" "I think you're making a bold statement with only your wife and daughter home" "I don't take threats lightly" "don't take it as a threat, call it persuasion" "does your father know you're here" he asked Ricky "he does" "in that case take him a message for me" "which is" "I'm not to be fucked with. Next time he wants to discuss business, he comes to talk" he said and that started the chaos. Two of his men came out of the kitchen probably waiting for the signal. In all fairness, they fired the first shot so now it was free for all. Ricky, Leo and I were behind the far couch waiting for an opening. They had shot 4 or 5 rounds each, they use 45s, which meant they each had at least 3 rounds left. The first opening was a bait but clearly only I knew that. Leo was the first one up and as fast as he turned, he was on the ground again, a bullet wound through the side of his stomach. As he yelled, Tess, Florentinos daughter started coming out of the other room and I knew if she got hit this would be on us. I got up quickly grabbing her and pulling her behind the couch with us but not before a bullet hit my arm "you're okay, you're not hurt" I asked her "I'm fine" "fuck, Ricky do not get up" "you're not getting up, you were shot" "yes I am" I told him. Two more rounds and I heard the click, they were out. I got up shooting one in the shoulder and the other in the leg before going over to Mr. Florentino.
"Okay listen I'll give back half of the money" he said as I held the gun in front of his face "all of it" "fine fine just leave my daughter okay" "I expect it to be returned tomorrow" "first thing in the morning" he said before I went over to Leo grabbed him and left.

"Is he awake" I asked Ricky "yea but not for much longer" "fuck" "we can't take him to a hospital" "I know I'm going to my house".

"-Danielle now" I shouted before she rushed Hailey upstairs. I opened the door again and Ricky and I helped Leo to the back as I heard mom and dad coming down.

"Oh my gosh" mom said, gasping. As many times as she saw it she would never get used to it. Danielle followed shortly after with first aid supplies and since both of our wounds were straight through, that's all we needed.

"Isaac you were hit too" she said coming over to me with alcohol and gauze as Ricky dealt with Leo.

"Isaac what the hell happened" dad asked "The Florentinos. I didn't know he had the guys in the fucking kitchen. Fuck" "it's fine okay. How's your arm" "it hurts" "hon why don't you go clean up and check on Hailey we'll take Ricky and Leo home before we go out. You are okay with us still going" mom said "yea yea go I'm fine. Ricky call me tomorrow yea" "okay. Hey thanks man" he said as I nodded and went back inside.
