Gios pov
"So what he's just done he'll stop messing with you" I asked Isaac as we walked to the parking lot "no eventually he'll know that I didn't kill him and knowing Harley it wouldn't matter anyways" "yea I guess. So what are you gonna do" "I don't know yet" "you don't know, that's kind of unlike you" "not really, I never really know what the fuck I'm doing but you guys never ask" "really" "yea. As of now all I have is to talk to my dad" "makes sense" I said as we continued walking. We were almost at his car when he saw him, Kyle.
One thing about Isaac is he can fight when he wants to and it's not the back and forth type of fight. Once he has his eye on winning he will and it won't be good for the other guy. It was like Isaac was a whole new person.
He went over to him grabbing him by his collar and slamming against the car behind them. He landed a few punches until his lip was bleeding.
"You almost got Hailey killed" he said stopping "I don't know what you're talking about" he said before Isaac slammed him on the ground with his knee on his chest. He punched him over and over and then wrapped his hands around his neck before I went over to him.
"Isaac, that's enough" I said pulling him back as he let go and Kyle slithered around on the ground catching his breath. He looked bad, I could already see the bruises forming and his face swelling up but he had it coming to him.

Isaacs pov
"Son you didn't come last night, everything okay" dad asked as I walked into the living room with him and mom "no" "what happened" mom asked "Harley was at Haileys house last night" "oh my god is everyone okay" "yea, I uh fixed it for now but I don't know what to do" "about Harley" dad asked and I nodded "what do you want to do" "kill him" "what's stopping you" "everything, Hailey, what it could do to our family" "so you know that's not an option" he said matter of factly "so what's the other option" "if I'm being honest, I'm not exactly sure" "what" "I'm not sure" "what the fuck do I come to you for then" I yelled "Isaac" "no Anna he's upset, he will fix his attitude later" dad said sternly before I got up going upstairs.

"Hey I sort of caught that" Dixie said coming into the room "okay" "are you okay" "no" "wanna talk about it" "I don't know" "well I'm sorry, at least she's okay right" "no, she's okay for now but last night could've turned out way worse" "but it didn't. At least try to look at the positives" "yea I guess" "well how is Hailey otherwise" "she said she's good" "but" "I know she's not. She thought I was gonna kill her father" "she was probably just scared" "no I know it's just I hated seeing her like that you know" "yea, I'm sorry Isaac" "how was your day though" "it was okay" "what happened" "I don't know, me and Nat are kinda having this stupid fight" "about what" "a guy. She likes this guy and they've been talking for a while but I know he's not good for her but she doesn't want to see it. I know you don't care about this stuff sorry" "no it's fine, I asked. Did he do anything to her" "no I just have a bad feeling about it" "well I'm sure she'll be fine and if she's not let me know" "yea okay. Well look just don't worry about the Harley situation. Hailey will be fine, she has you" "thanks Dixie" I said before she left.

Haileys pov
"Hey feeling any better" I asked Derrick when I got home "yea a lot better. My throat was hurting for a while but at least I'm not dead right" "yea" I said as he smiled trying to lighten the mood "come on kiddo, we're okay and we will be okay" "I know it's just you could've really gotten hurt" "well good thing your boyfriend knew what he was doing" "have you talked to mom" "yes" "did you tell her what happened" "yea" "and" "she's just like you, she's worrying way more than she needs to. She was going to catch a flight for today but I told her to finish her trip" "okay" "Hailey are you okay" "yea. I was just scared that's all but like you said we're okay. I'll be fine" "okay".

Rorys pov
"Veronica you look amazing" mom said as I came downstairs "yes you look very beautiful" dad added as I smiled "thank you both" "is your boyfriend here" mom asked "he's close" "Veronica, I've talked to your mother and I want to apologize for what I said about you when I first met him" "okay" "well enjoy your night" "I will".

"You look gorgeous" Gio said as I opened the door "thank you, handsome" I said before he kissed my cheek. I said bye to my parents then we left.

"Are we meeting them there" I asked him "yea. Don't be nervous they're fairly nice people and they'll like you" "yea I hope so" I said as he squeezed my hand.

When we got to the restaurant he gave his keys to the valet then grabbed my hand as we walked inside. The host took us to a table in the back of the restaurant where his mom and dad sat.
"Hello Rory" his mom said as Gio pulled out the chair for me to sit "Hi, how are you" "good" "We're glad you could have dinner with us" his dad said "well I was uh excited when Gio told me about it" "excited" "she was nervous" Gio answered for me "don't be, we just wanted to get to know you more" "oh okay" "so tell us about yourself" "oh. I'm an only child, I've never really been into anything except cheer and I used to do gymnastics when I was younger so I'm not that interesting" "well what about your family, what do your parents do" his dad asked "my dad is the CFO at a company and my mom doesn't work anymore" "what did she used to do" "law" "oh that's a nice field" "yea" "before I met Tobias I was studying to become a lawyer, a defense attorney" his mom said "why did you stop" "well I didn't stop immediately but when I had Giovanni I finished my bachelors in law and never went to law school" "oh okay" "why did your mother stop" "my dad had money" I said shamefully before Gio cleared his throat "so how did you two meet" his mom asked taking the hint "Rory is best friends with Isaacs girlfriend Hailey" "oh yes I have met her a couple times, she's lovely" "yea" "so Rory are you 18 now" "yea I turned 18 a week or so before school started" "and how do you feel about everything" his dad asked "everything" "what we do, Giovanni recently being let out from prison" "oh, honestly I don't feel anyway about it. Uh sometimes it's worrisome, not that I'm scared around him but like if something happened to him but other than that I'm fine" "okay and do your parents know" "uh no, honestly they aren't really invested in what I do so they haven't even asked about him" "if they did would you tell them" "not unless it was okay with him" "okay".

"So what about college, do you plan on going" his mom asked "yea. Hailey and I are going to Ohio State" "what do you plan on studying" "psychology" "very nice then" "thank you".

After dinner we walked back to his car and drove in silence.
"Are you okay, did I say something wrong" I asked "no you didn't I guess I just never thought about you going to college" "oh yea" "what do you want to do then" "maybe we talk about it when we get there can we just enjoy being together" I said quickly "uh yea I guess" "I'm sorry" "don't be, I'm okay with not having to worry about it for now" "good".
