Haileys pov
"Wow look at you" grandpa said when I came downstairs "thank you grandpa" "yes you look beautiful but where are you going" Derrick asked "to dinner" "okay, are you staying out tonight" "no I'll be home" "okay, have a good night sweetheart" "thanks dad" I said before there was a knock on the door.
"Hey beautiful" he said kissing my cheek "hey" "ready" "yea come on, bye guys" I said before we left.

"So everything okay" I asked "yea why wouldn't it be" "I mean we didn't talk yesterday and you said you were busy" "yea, sorry about that" "did busy have anything to do with Harley" "a little bit" "what's that supposed to mean" "I had a few people looking into things for me but I was mostly taking care of some things for other people" "okay" "baby I said I wouldn't spiral, I'm just taking precautions" "okay I'm just making sure. I'm worried" "you don't have to be" "okay".

After dinner we walked around talking for a little since we were downtown.

"Babe you missed the turn to my house" I said "I know" "what" "we're being followed" "how do you know they don't live here" "because they followed us off of the highway. It's midnight. Call Derrick" he said looking out of the rearview mirror as I picked up my phone, calling him and putting in on speaker.

"Hey honey what's up" he said "Derrick" "Isaac? Yea" "is there a car outside" "what's wrong" mom asked "I don't know" he told her "Derrick" "uh no ones sitting outside, a car just drove by" "what kind of car" "I'm not sure what kind but it was white" "okay" he said picking up his phone.

"Honey what's going on" mom asked as I took it off of speaker "he says we're being followed" "followed oh my god get home" "I don't think that's smart" "oh my god be careful" "we will mom, he's calling his dad right now I'll call you back" "okay".

"No I didn't go to her house yet. Can you just meet us there. Thank you. Okay" he said before hanging up "what did he say" he said he's going to meet us at your house" "where are you going" I asked as he turned down a street "not sure just any other house" "Isaac what if they think I live there and the people there get hurt" "I don't care" "Isaac" "Hailey listen to me. I told I would do anything to protect you so I really don't care" he said and I didn't answer.

He pulled into a driveway and turned off the car as the other car drove by slowly.
"Get out" he said "why" "because it has to look like you live here" "oh" I said as we both got out.
When the car was down the road we went back to his car and he drove to my house.

"Oh my god are you two okay" mom asked as we got inside "yea mom we're fine" I said putting my bag on the couch and leaning into Isaac "my dads on his way" "uh okay".
"What's going on" grandpa asked "nothing dad" Derrick said "seems like something. Hailey are you in danger" "I'll be fine" I said before the door opened and Simon walked in wearing his suit and tie, damn this man was seriously always ready.

"Hello Simon" Derrick said as he reached us "Hello. So what kind of car was it" "BMW 5 series, grey. TKD- 2791. One driver" Isaac said "okay and was there a car here" he asked Derrick "not sitting, I saw one drive by but it may not have had anything to do with this" "I'd like to be thorough about this. Did you notice or see anything about the car" "it was white, the rims were red but that's it" "okay. Well until then I have people waiting outside" "we don't need bodyguards" mom said "until I find out who's behind this, they will escort you and surveil your house" "Simon this is too much" Derrick said "as I said you will do what I ask. I understand it's unusual but I am responsible for the safety of your family especially when it is a matter of the mob so the men outside will stay. Do you think this could be Harley" he asked Isaac "it's possible but he already knows where they live so why would he follow me" "not sure. He could just be throwing you off. Didn't you have people look into things" "yea no one knows anything or at least they won't give anything up" "okay. Well it's late so I'll leave you all and go look into a few things. If you need anything call me and I'll be over immediately" "thank you Simon" Derrick said as he shook his hand "of course, goodnight" he said leaving.
"You gonna be okay or do you want me to stay" Isaac asked "I'll be fine babe" "I really don't want to leave you" "I know but look your dad gave us personal bodyguards" "baby please don't joke" "hey we're gonna be fine, are you okay" "yes just worried" "well don't be. Go home get some rest and I'll see you tomorrow" "okay" "I'm serious. You actually have to go to sleep to get rest. Call me okay" "okay. Goodnight" "goodnight" I said kissing him before he left.
