"So school starts in a week and we will officially be seniors" I said to Rory "yup and I'd say we're starting off pretty good. Varsity cheer squad, you're dating the quarterback, all we have to do is pass" "exactly. piece of cake".

"You've talked to Kyle recently" Rory asked "yesterday before you picked me up why" "just asking. How's that going" "it's going good I mean he's the quarterback and he's amazing and I'm the head cheerleader and I'm amazing, we're perfect for each other" "okay well that's good" "yea. What about you any new prospects" "don't call them prospects, and not really maybe one or two but nothing serious" "you know eventually you should settle with one" "yea I know but I just want to find someone worth it you know. Like what you have" "yea I get it".

Isaacs pov
"Isaac honey come here for a second" mom said as I joined her and dad in the living room "yes" "so as you know Duncan Academy is populated with many students affiliated with the mafia yes" she said "okay and" "well with yours and your sisters, well our, status you could say I have more enemies than I would like" dad said "yea you could say. What's the point" "well we're transferring a few of you to a public school not too far from here" "a what. no" "we're not asking if you're okay with it I'm telling you" "who is a few of us" "you, your sister, Ricky, Antonio, Leo, Andrea, Morgan, and per you're sisters request, Natalie. Even though they are sophomores we have also decided to transfer Jessie, Henry, and Nico for yours and your sisters further protection" "this is for my protection, I can protect myself" "I'm sure you could but this is how it's going to be, understood" "yes sir" "good so you all will be starting there at the beginning of the semester. You will ride with at least one of the other boys every day and you will have your sister with you" "dad seriously" "Isaac" "yes sir" "good now, school starts is less than a week instead of another week like Duncan would" "okay" "you're excused" he said before I got up to go to my room.

I hated this whole idea. Duncan was easy. It's not that I was antisocial it was that I didn't like a lot of people which technically isn't the same thing. I get along with the people I'm supposed to and couldn't care less about the rest of them.

"Isaac someone's at the door for you" Dixie said sticking her head in my room "okay I'm coming".

"Yes Andrea, what do you need" "you're coming with me" "excuse me. Try again" I said raising my eyebrow at her "Isaac, can you come with me please" "where" "me and Morgan want to go to a party and dad said we couldn't go unless we brought someone I don't know something about tightening security" "why aren't you taking Antonio you came from the house he was in" "ew I don't want to take my brother" "I hate parties Andrea" "I don't and you're supposed to be my boyfriend" "god damn fine. I have to get dressed" I said turning to go back upstairs as she followed me. She waited until I was done then we went back downstairs.
"We're not taking your car" she asked "no" "can you at least drive" "yea sure" "thank you".

I didn't care much about dating, especially not Andrea. She was annoying and always complaining about us doing couple things. I liked her enough but she always made a big deal out of everything. She was also too childish, she was an attention seeker, and I didn't like the way she dressed or acted, but I still didn't care enough.
"Hi Isaac" Morgan said when she got in the car "hey Morgan" I said before her and Andrea got into whatever it was they talked about. Over the last 18 years I've learned to block them out when they spoke. It was mainly gossip or about other guys neither of which I gave a shit about anyways.
"So Isaac you're ready to start at this new school" Morgan asked "no. I think it's pointless for all of us to transfer" "but it could be fun, meeting new people, not always worrying if someone is trying to kill you in class huh" "no it couldn't be fun" "maybe you'll even meet someone Morgan" Andrea said "maybe. Just a normal non gangster hot guy at a high school. No offense Isaac" "yea none taken".
The party was boring just as I thought it was gonna be. Since I had to drive home I only had two drinks and for the most part I stayed in the kitchen, away from all the people.
"Cmon Morgan" I said helping her out of the car and walking her to her door as Andrea slept in the front seat.
"Isaac thank you" "of course Mr. Abato. Goodnight" "goodnight and tell your father hello for me" "will do" I said turning to leave.
"Thank you for bringing Andrea home" "you're welcome Mrs. Ferrari" I said before I left.

"Isaac you were out late" dad said as I walked in the house "I was out with Andrea and Morgan" "okay" he said as I kept going to my room. He always brings up the idea of Andrea and I ending up together and I couldn't stand it.

Haileys pov
"Hey dad are you and mom staying out tonight" "yes, you don't mind watching the boys right" "uh no not at all but could I have friends over tonight" "yea sure that's fine" "thank you".

Even though Derrick was only my stepdad, he was amazing with me and the boys and he was the father I never had so I never really had a problem calling him dad. Sam and Michael are actually his kids but he never treated me any different. The first few weeks of him being with my mom were weird but eventually I warmed up to him and he's the best.

"Bye guys" Sam and Michael said as mom and Derrick reached the door "bye you two. Be good for Hailey and Hailey don't forget to feed your brothers" "I won't mom. You guys have fun. Rory and Jackson should be here soon too" "okay you guys have a good night" she said before they left.

"Do you guys want to eat now" I asked "yea" "okay ill make something and bring it up to you" "thanks" they said running upstairs. The doorbell rang just as I finished cooking and Rory and Jackson walked in.
"Hey guys let me just take this upstairs I'll be right back" "okay".

"Did you guys hear we're getting new students this year" Jackson said "new students from where" Rory asked "from some preppy private school" "how many" "not sure all I heard is that they're coming and where they're coming from" "well it'll be interesting, we haven't had transfers since freshman year I'm tired of seeing the same people" she said laughing a little "yea and maybe one of them will be for you Rory" Jackson joked.

We watched movies and talked and ate. The boys fell asleep around 11 which was good cause they were sort of annoying. They were 6 and 8 but still very annoying. We ended up falling asleep on the couch which was actually a lot bigger than it seemed so we all had pretty good room.
