Haileys pov
Something about what Isaac told me about Isabella bothered me the entire morning. I wasn't sure why I did this but I was overthinking everything and now my trust in him was shaken again. Not for any reason that he can control just the fact that she had a reason to not trust him.

"Bye Derrick I'll see you later" I said leaving the house.
"Hi Hailey, we're glad you could come with us" Katie said as I slid into the backseat "yea of course" I said as we drove off.

"So how many people are you guys looking at" I asked "around 110" "oh okay" "are you free Monday after school" Katie asked "I have to take my brother to baseball why" "oh I was going to schedule an appointment to try out some dresses and I wanted you to be there" "oh really" "yes. When are you free" "I should be free Wednesday" "okay great. Wednesday after school" "uh when are you trying to have the wedding" "before the end of the school year. We're trying to get a venue first so we can know the available dates" "oh this is fast" "yea we've been waiting for quite some time" "yea".

We went to four different places today until they finally settled on one. They chose May 15 to be their wedding date which meant they had a lot of shit to get done before then.

"Thanks guys I had a lot of fun" I said as we pulled up to Rorys house "bye Hailey" Elena said as I got out.

"Hey how was it" Rory asked as I got into her room "okay actually, their wedding is May 15" "oh wow that's soon" "yea and they want me to help out and I guess I could do that for them" "I know they'd really appreciate that" "yea. Rory I asked him about his girlfriend" "yea you've already done that" "no, his serious girlfriend, Isabella" "who" "Isabella. They dated when he was 16 and he said she found out the truth about him from some guy who also said she wouldn't be able to trust him and then they broke up" "some guy" "he didn't tell me. He said I wouldn't know him" "okay so what did he tell her" "he wouldn't tell me that either" "did he say he didn't know" "no he just completely ignored it when I asked" "okay" "I need to know what he told her" "why" "because I need to know if it was true. I need to know if I can trust him. I need to know why they ended things and at what point in our relationship is it gonna end us" I said fidgeting with my bracelet nervously before Rory grabbed my hands "stop it. You can't think like that. Look I'm sure if he didn't tell you there's a better reason than it being because it could hurt you. Isaac wouldn't hurt you like that" "and what if he just told me he loves me so we don't break up what if he doesn't really mean it" "Hailey come on" "I don't know what's wrong with me but I can't think otherwise unless I know and he's not gonna tell me" "so what, until then you're gonna avoid him" "yea" "what I was kidding. You can't avoid your boyfriend" "yes I can" "how, what are you gonna break up with him" "no. I'll just avoid him and then when he asks you just tell him I've got some things going on with my family and I just needed some time" "are you serious" "yes. Look if I pretend this isn't bothering me it's only going to make things really weird for us and eventually bad. This way I could get over this weird idea and self conscious thinking and then just be fine and we'll be back together" "okay but like you said until you know you won't get over it so why not just talk to him and tell him what you're thinking" "because for some reason I can't find sanity when it comes to him Rory and I don't know why" "it's because you love him. Look if you think this will work I'll go along" "thank you, I really hope this works".

After hours of Rory trying to take my mind off of the whole thing, I went home for dinner. This plan probably was terrible but I was scared to talk to him for fear of it turning into a fight and then a breakup.

I had actually managed to not see Isaac for the rest of the weekend but now it was Monday. When I pulled up I saw his car already parked.
"Hey" he said coming up behind me and kissing my cheek "oh hey. I uh didn't know you were here" "yea I had to bring Dixie early she had tutoring" "oh. I actually have to get to class" "I'll walk you" "no" I said quickly "why not" "I have a test I need to focus on and you'll just distract me" "I promise I won't" "this is a really big test I'll see you at lunch" I said moving out of his grasp and walking the other way. Now I was gonna have to find a way to avoid him at lunch too.
