The rest of the week was pretty shitty. Mrs. Riley said we had to sit with our new lab partners. After we ate we walked around for a bit before going to the hotel.

"Haileys home" Michael yelled as I got in the house "Hailey come for a second" Derrick shouted from the kitchen and I knew we were about to have a serious talk.
Michael smirked at me as I passed him so I guess he knew that too.
"Uh yea guys" I said sitting on the counter "so when were you planning on telling us that those transfers at your school were affiliated with the mafia" mom said "uh I don't know. I'm sorry" "this is a big deal this could be dangerous" "it's not dangerous they mind their own business and they've been at school for weeks and haven't done anything" "Hailey do you understand that we're upset you kept this from us" Derrick said "yes I understand but I didn't transfer them" "Hailey" "okay I'm sorry but I just didn't know how to tell you guys something like that I'm sorry really" "is there anything else we should know" mom asked.
Well they were gonna find out anyways so here goes.
"Uh yea. One of them is my lab partner" "one of the transfers" "yes. I'm sorry" "we'll have your school change that don't worry" "mom he's not dangerous and I'd only be doing projects with him and nothing else. Please don't cause a big deal over this at school" "Hailey if something happens-" "mom if something happens we sue them for all their money okay" I said jumping off of the counter kissing her cheek and going upstairs.
He might be an ass but I honestly didn't think he would hurt me and all I had to was convince mom and Derrick of that. Giving them a day to cool off about the whole thing would help, hopefully.
