26: A Battle For Dominance

"WOW" Sanu whispered, causing you to turn your head quickly. "I didn't recognize you at first! The costume department sure did a good job making you look scary! How do you like... your... new-- He seemed awful determined, didn't he Sheila?"

You almost did fall out of the rafters. The sight of his almost bare chest and his sagging shorts, nearly gave you a heart attack.

"My tummy fur is the same color as my face."

It was as if he was trying to give you a heads up for the instant nose-bleed that was going to attack you today. Legoshi was leaning into his primal side once again. It was so akin to when he had ambushed that poor rabbit. You wanted to stop him; to bring him back to reality. But your feelings were so torn. Part of you wanted him to go wild. You wanted the alpha wolf inside of him to rise up and to see him dominate those around him. Yet, you were also unable to allow him to destroy the persona he had worked so hard to maintain.

There was nothing you could do now. The show had to go on, and unfortunately it wasn't the same without Louis.

Legoshi reared back his claws, exposing his furry, toned body.

KaTHOK

Bill went sliding with a gasp from everyone, audience and crew alike. Ellen's face was full of fear and if anything, you wanted to leap down and save her. Two large carnivores could survive those hits. Ellen would have been dead in seconds.

It wasn't even a second before Legoshi crawled on top of Bill and reared back his massive fist.

"I told you I wouldn't forgive you, Bill." Your sensitive ears could hear Legoshi's voice... not that it sounded anything like the gentle wolf.

"W-We have to stop them-- now!" Sheila motioned for Ellen to run off the stage. Thankfully your friend responded quickly, allowing you to let out a breath of relief.

"Can you do it?" Sanu's face was full of fear.

"No. I can't..." Sheila knew that no one could stop these alpha males but themselves at this point.

WHUD

The sound of bone meeting flesh was clear and the mood changed. The crew was fearful, the audience was suspenseful.

I hate him right now... but why do I feel the need to let loose like I never have... to show how strong I am... to dominate him... Legoshi's eyes burned with anger. I want to kill him.

"Enough, Legoshi." Bill caught the next punch and slowly began to stand up and dominate the gray wolf. "You're not innocent. I know you've smelled rabbit blood before. Otherwise you wouldn't have recognized it so quickly. Am I right?" Bill held Legoshi in a hug so tight it cracked his ribs. "Did you hurt that rabbit? Did you kill it? Did you like it?"

Your face snarled in anger. How dare he taunt the kind wolf like that. Especially after having apparently drank the blood of an herbivore.

Legoshi stopped himself. That's the difference between you two. He can control himself. You shook your head at the tiger. I'm lucky you were even able to when you brought me back to your room.

"Oh!" You gasped as you smelled the wolf's hot blood running out of him. They might have been more closely matched than others, but a tiger was still a tiger. Much deadlier than a wolf.
