"I'm kind of worried about her." Pina looked at his phone and then over to San. "Normally, she picks up the phone when I call her. If anything to yell at me for calling her."

"She's fine." San sighed. "I mean, as fine as she can be."

Pina smiled and looked over. "Lucky little omni-baby, getting what she deserves to have."

"I thought you liked her..." San looked over skeptically. Pina's attitude didn't really match up to the reality of the situation.

"I do!" Pina was equally confused. "She deserves to be happy. I'm sure she's just getting down with that beast."

"I don't know... it's kind of taboo, you know?" San sighed. "Even though she's an omnivore, being with an herbivore when you eat any meat is strange."

"What? A maned wolf with a gray wolf cannot be that weird." Pina insisted as he sat up. "There are so few omnivores, they aught to just get to be with whoever."

"Gray wolf?" San's eyes widened in realization. "You think-- Ha! Try red deer. She's at Louis' place right now."

Pina dropped his phone into his lap. And his jaw. "You're kidding."

"I'm not. But you know you can't let this leave this room. Louis will have your horns."

Subconsciously, Pina reached up to his beautiful rack. That bastard probably would de-horn me if I spread that rumor... "As long as she's okay..."

"It may be contrary to how he looks... but Louis isn't the type to play around. If anything, she's being spoiled rotten right now."

"I said, I'm hungry." You complained. "I want food."

"And I said, I'm making it." Louis shook his head in front of his microwave. As the child of an important beast, Louis had a full kitchen at his disposal should the cafeteria not be suitable to him.

You had to admit it was quite the sight to see the shirtless red deer squatting in front of a microwave. "Yeah, but what are you going to make? Grass?" It was easy to tease the red deer, something that could easily be accomplished even when you weren't in the mood.

"Vegetables." He didn't take the bait. "Hey, YN."

"You can just start talking, it's obviously going to be with me."

"Do you need to get anything from your dorm? Clothes, snacks, entertainment?" He pulled the hot bowl out with a cloth and brought it over to the coffee table.

"No, I'll just grab the clothes tomorrow. Everything else is fine. I figured I won't stay that long anyway."

"We'll see." Louis grabbed a soft carrot and popped it in his mouth. "Eat. We can watch the television until we're tired."

"Don't you need to practice acting or something?" You were quick to grab the asparagus, not wanting to share. Louis took note.

"You think I do that every evening?" He slung an arm over your shoulders and turn on the large screen in front of him. You shrugged, never having thought about it before. "Maybe before a big performance. But not now."

You sat straight up against the couch, chewing the long, green stalks. It didn't matter what you did; as long as it got your mind off of that stupid wolf.
