Napagdesisyunan ko na na hindi ko tatanggapin ang alok ni Mr. Ramos, its too risky. Hindi ko yata masisikmura kung may mangyaring masama sa HJE branch dahil sa maling desisyon ko.

Leie received a call from kuya Ashen, kaya naiwan akong mag-isa dito sa office room.

I guess I already analyzed every corner of this room. Kada wala si Leie ay 'yon palagi ang ginagawa ko.

As usual everytime he isn't around I can see ghosts and of course they're getting the chance to reach me out and ask for help. I can't help them because I really can't interact eith them whenever I am in public kaya madalas ay hindi ko na lang pinapansin at nilalagpasan ko na lang.

Whenever I get bored I always call Johnson. He's one call away though kaya walang problema kung tatawag na lang ako bigla-bigla. He said he will stay in London before he start his mission. As if he can't help in London, pero baka mas mahirap ang pag-tulong doon dahil baka mas maarte pa ang mga multo doon.

"Johnson..."

"Haffai you missed me?" He asked.

"A little bit. Bakla kung mamimiss ko ang mokong na 'yon." Sagot ko sa kaniya. I was trying to tease him.

"Hey! That's my line, huh!" He said and we both laugh.

"Yes, I know. Anyways, how are you there? How's London?" I asked.

"I'm fine here, ikaw ba? Wala ka bang ginagawa or meetings?"

"None. Napatawag lang, i'm fine too."

"Good, free time ko ngayon. May sasabihin pala ako sayo." Sabi niya.

Agad akong nakaramdam ng kaba do'n. Ano naman kaya ang sasabihin niya?

"Haffai, I saw Zach the day before yesterday. He gave me some hint and message."

"Hint?"

Hint about what?

"Yeah, hint. Hint about our special person, I already told you about our special person right? Sila ang itinadhana na tumulong sa atin para matigil o maagapan 'tong sitwasyon natin?" Sabi niya.

"Yes. So what's the hint?" I asked. I am really curious right now.

"Don't get your hopes up. Sobrang simple lang ng hint na nasabi niya sa akin. He said you're always comfortable to that person, that's all." He said.

I gasped. "What the? Ayon lang? That's a nice hint, huh?" I said sarcastically.

"I also said thta but that's really the hint Haffai. You know what hindi na ako naniniwala sa special person na 'yan. Why do we need another person to help us if we can do it in our own, right? Madami namang paraan." Sagot niya sa akin.

I sigh. He's right. Why do we even need that special person. This is the consequences for our second life and of course we need to bear it, kahit ano pa man 'to.

"What about Zachy's message, Johnson?" I asked.

"Matatapos na ang sumpa natin." Sagot niya.

Napatawa ako. Sumpa talaga ang tawag ni Johnson sa sitwasyon namin kasi para sa kaniya hindi naman daw ito kapani-paniwala kung sasabihin namin ito sa ibang tao. I'm pretty sure if he's not in this situation he wouldn't think that ghosts are real.

"How?"

"By finishing the mission."

"What mission?"

"Zach said the time has come for us. We just need to finish our mission in this world. He said the last mission is to still help the ghost but, listen, but that last mission is the hardest one pero 'yon na rin naman ang pinaka-huli at matatapos na ang lahat. We'll get back to our normal lives. We should ready ourselves about that last mission because it wouldn't be easy." He explained.

I suddenly got scared. Masaya ako na matatapos din pala ang sitwayson na 'to dahil akala ko ay habang-buhay na ito, na hindi na ako makakatakas sa ganito pero may katapusan din pala, pero natatakot ako sa pwedeng maging huling misyon ko. Kung ano man iyon ay alam kong sobrang mahihirapan ako.

This is my second life so I accepted my consequences wholeheartedly. Currently I am overthinking if I can finish my last mission, will I be happy after that and so on.

Gusto ko na rin namang matapos ito, sawa na rin ako na makisalamuha sa mga multo. Gusto ko ng mamuhay ng walang iniisip na tutulungan o walang lalagpasan.

"Haffai, still there?"

"Oh y-yes Johnson. Thanks for the information by the way." I said.

"That's nothing. Actually ako dapat tatawag sayo kaso naunahan mo ako, buti rin hindi ko pa nakalimutan."

Natapos rin agad ang tawag namin dahil may gagawin na daw siya, nagpa-salamat pa ako sa kaniya ng kaunti.

After I finish that hardest mission I wonder if I can really go back to the old Haffai, to my realistic normal life. I don't know what should I feel. I feel happy yet scared, 'yon na lang ang nasa isip ko sa ngayon.

"Haffai, focus." I encourage myself.

I will still help them, nagagawa ko lang naman iyon kapag off ako sa trabaho at kapag nasa sariling place ako, basta kapag wala si Leie.

"Oh my god, what if I failed?" Tanong ko sa sarili ko.

I'm scared to fail. Hindi pwede, hindi pwedeng hindi ko matapos ang misyon ko.

"Of course not. You're my Haffai." He said.

"L-Leie..."

Anong ginagawa niya rito? Isang oras at kalahati mula ng umalis siya. Bakit ang bilis naman yata niya kay Kuya?

"Yes, my Haffai?" He said and look at me.

His Haffai? Oh god, why is he doing this?

"L-Leie-"

Napayuko ako dahil sa pag-uutal ko sa pag-tawag sa pangalan niya. Nakakahiya.

"You won't fail, alright?" Aniya.

About the hint, except to my family I am also comfortable to him and I can't see ghosts whenever he's around. Hindi kaya coincidence lang? Not assuming but he can be my special person or maybe just a protector. I don't know, I don't have any idea.

"Y-yeah." Sagot ko na lang.

"If you can't tell this to Mr. Ramos ako na lang ang kakausap sa kaniya. Don't stress yourself."

Sasagot pa sana ako pero bigla ko na naman naalala ang tawag niya sa akin kanina.

"H-Hindi-"

"Don't worry I am sure he will understand. Babalik naman si Mr. Ramos dito pero ako na lang ang kakausap, okay?"

"O-okay." I answered.

Maybe he thought I am still thinking about that offer. Okay na rin ito kesa naman mag-alala siya sa akin ng sobra dahil sa pinoproblema ko.

I know he wouldn't understand me and my situation if ever I will tell him, baka layuan niya rin ako.

This isn't what I want, I don't want to lie to him but I have no choice.

"Smile." He command.

I did what I was told but he isn't satisfied.

"Nah, not like that its fake. Smile genuinely, hmm?" He said.

I smiled. "Here?" I asked.

Ngumisi siya. "Just smile. Sige ka baka mag-tampo ang anak natin niyan, look at them they're smiling." Sabi niya sabay turo sa couch.

Nandoon ang dalawang ponytail stuff toys na nakuha namin sa timezone.

Sasagot pa sana ako pero nakita ko na palabas na siya ng office.

What the hell, did he just say 'anak namin?' Leie why are you being like this? You're making me crazy!
