SHANNEN POV

I drove straight home exhausted and very late so I texted Sherry to pick up my kids from the play school.  As I reached the driveway I noticed Dad's car is parked outside.

"D---Dad.... Mom... what are you doing here?" I nonchalantly placed my bag on the counter.

"Shannen, please sit down. I know you already had enough stress and worries since our last conversation. But---" Dad came towards me.

Oh god! This day couldn't get any better! I just don't know what else to do if there are more lies or news I need to know.

"What is it this time? My mind is too caught up with too much so whatever you have to say... please... just don't." I am totally exhausted.

"But Sha you have to---" Sherry objected.

"Stop it Sherry! You are in no position to tell me what to do. You lied to me including Martin about Zac's real condition." I began getting mad.

"You... you knew?" Her face was flustered.

"YES!! I KNOW EVERY FUCKING DETAIL!! EVERY LIES AND EVERY BETRAYALS YOU ALL MADE!! IS THAT THE REASON YOU CHOOSE TO STAY HERE TO WASH OFF ALL YOUR GUILT FEELINGS HUH?!" I screamed.

"I DIDN'T DO IT FOR GUILTY REASONS! I DID IT BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT YOU! YOU ARE MY SISTER FOR GOD SAKE AND I LOVE YOU!!" Sherry matches my tone.

"Calm down your voices! You will wake up the kids." Mom hushed tone.

"Sha... please forgive me... us... for lying..." Sherry marched towards me.

"Sherry, I appreciate all the things you did for me and especially with my kids. I don't wanna be hypocrite and say everything will be okay. What you all did cuts my heart into pieces and leaves a deep scar on it. Call me selfish but I'm not ready to forgive." I stepped back.

"Shannen you need to hear us out first..." Mom begins again.

"Don't you understand Mom? I don't wanna hear anymore I am sick and tired from all of this." I commented exasperatedly.

"We understand and respect your decision baby girl." Dad talked this time.

"Thank you Dad.  Now if you don't mind... I would like to be with my kids... alone." I emphasized the last word.

I stood up from the couch and went to master's bedroom. After I changed my work clothes to Zac's shirt my throat felt dry. I went to the kitchen for a glass of water.

The living room is now quiet and then I checked on the guest room to find Sherry's stuff is gone. I entered the nursery and saw my beautiful children sleeping on their own cots. They are the most precious gem I possessed.

"I will do everything to bring your father back even if I have to fly in Italy.  I don't care if he doesn't remember us but I will make sure you will grow older knowing who he is." I held their little hands in mine.

I made a promised on our wedding day and I will fulfil that vow.
