ZAC POV
After dinner we head home straight since I was having headache. Mom was worried but I assured her it's nothing. I popped some pain reliever the doctor prescribed me and head in the shower. Moments later I already passed out on my bed.
(DREAM)
"Babe, I promise you I will love you for the rest of my life. Be there for you always and never leave your side no matter what happens. You are my life and you made me complete. You're my happiness and my world. Until death do us part I will love you babe." The guy vowed.
I was too surprised to see that the groom is actually me.
"Zac, two years of being with you made me realize what true love really is. Our relationship went through a lot but we never showed any weaknesses. There are times when I just want to hit you with my shoe for being hard headed but at the end you will give in to me. Whatever happens, I will fight for you and I will never give up in sickness and in health. From this day onwards I promise to shower you with my love and our kids and I will never leave you. I love you so much babe till my last breath." The bride finished her turn.
After exchanging our vows and rings the Preached announced that it's time to kiss the bride. I'm about to take the veil of when I felt somebody is shaking me.
(END OF THE DREAM)
I checked the time it was already morning. Mom was sitting beside me holding a glass of water.
"Zac it's time for your medicine." Mom hand me the pill.
"Thanks Mom." I popped it inside my mouth.
"Go down when you're ready and have breakfast." She began standing up.
I watched her leave while my mind is still on that dream. I need to visit my therapist and see what it meant. It could be from my past or just a simple dream. I get up from the bed and started my morning routine. When I was satisfied with my appearance I head to the kitchen and saw Mom reading.
"How was your sleep?" Mom placed the plate in front of me.
"It was okay." I shifted on my chair.
I wanted to ask her about the dream and maybe she will have idea about it. But I'm having second thoughts and she might think it was a plain dream.
"Is there anything you want to tell me?" Mom folded the newspaper.
"You said if I have questions I can come to you right?" I cleared my throat.
"Of course anything son. What is it?" She focused her attention on me.
"I've been having these weird dreams." I started to fill up my plate.
"What about it?" She raised her eyebrow.
"Am I in a relationship or with someone before the accident?" I felt her got tense.
"If I say yes, you will push yourself to remember everything. It will trigger your brain with severe headache just like before. If I say no, you will force to remember and it's unhealthy for your condition." Mom indirectly ignored my query.
"But Mom I needed to know." My voice raised a little.
"Zac Jayden, I didn't raise you to disrespect me." She reprimanded me.
"Yes you are but mentally I don't even remember you. I lost my memory so I'm trying to figure everything out." I got frustrated.
"You are right. We are still in patching up stage and I should be helping you out." She began to sob.
"I just want you to see it on my perspective." I tried to console her.
"I understand. In time you will know and remember things just don't force it. Believe me it's too much for you to take it all in. For now please try to get better my son." She holds my hand.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean those words." I wiped her tears.
"I know you don't. Let's leave this issue for now and continue eating shall we?" She suggested.
"Yeah that's better. I'm actually starving." I kissed her forehead.
After breakfast I went to the gym for an hour and had a debate with brain. Maybe mom is right I can't force myself to remember my past but still I feel she's hiding something. I head to the shower and decided to head to the town.
