While making my way to the parking lot, I saw Ford's friends—Matthew, Jake and Andrew. I hurried to see and talk to them. I removed my safety belt and turned off the ignition of my car. I run towards them and greeted them.
"Hey!" Matthew said. "How are you?"
"I'm good! How are you guys? Want to hang out tonight? 8pm. My place." I said.
"Nice! Friday nights are always the best with Francine!" Jake cheerfully said.
"That's right! And of course, there's no perfect hang outs without francine's signature wine, the unlimited 1975 Bordeaux! See you there!" Jake cheerfully said.
"Yeah, right." I laughed. "You're annoying."
Andrew sighed. "Sorry France, I can't come-"
"Why?" I said, with a disappointed voice.
"Only if Alexa wouldn't come." Andrew playfully laugh and waited for my approval.
Andrew is the most annoying of them all.
I gave him a pat on the shoulder and smiled. "Nice try, Andrew. But sorry. Alexa wouldn't come,"
He made his irresistable puppy eyes and pretended to put a sad face. "Why?"
"Because you said you can't come." I winked.
"I will! I will come! I'll meet you at 5 and help you out with the drinks!"
We laughed and we all agreed for tonight.
As I walk my way to history class, I felt the sudden need of having my soft pillows, blanket and my bed right now. I know, history class must be interesting but with Mr. Hamilton, everything he says turns out to be a historical lullabies.
I always loved to come early because I have many choices of seats and my favorite seat is in the second row in the middle. I fixed my bag and started to get my history notes and review some topics so that if Mr. Hamilton decided to be a monster today, I'll be ready for recitations.
Apparently, a not-so-friendly tall aloof appeared at the door and decided to sit beside me. I could say that he is really a mysterious guy along with his hoodie that perfectly matches his body. This man's recreational activities probably spent on workouts all the days of his life. I was the only one who didn't asked for his name or initiate to talk to him because I'm scared to be ignored just like how he did to our classmates.
I am entirely focused on reading my notes but suddenly I felt him gazing and I can't even look at him.
Oh God, help me.
"Are we having an activity with him today?" He said while waiting for me to look at him.
"Uh, no." I said, pretending to not care at all.
I felt like an ice cream and he is the raging sun that reflects hotness using his oceanic blue eyes and I can't even fumble for words.
Just ask me to marry you! It's so simple.
"Then why are you studying?" He said while leaning against the table with one elbow.
It's none of your business.
"It's just- I'm just reviewing the previous topics so that I can connect it to the discussion today," I said. "And this is also a good way to prepare myself if ever he wants to have a recitation."
Why am I explaining?
"That's pretty... Amazing. No one does that in history class. If I was you? I'm probably sleeping and dreaming right now."
