I woke up in the morning and I can feel my head cursing and pushing against itself, I need to have my phone right now but It is nowhere in sight. Maybe I had left it somewhere in the living room before the party started. I remember sleeping with Diane and Sandy but they are nowhere in this room. I scratched my eyes and stretched my hands up to lean forward and I stood up. I looked at the mirror and...

Fuck, I look gross.

I went to the bathroom and fixed my hair. I brushed my teeth, and I washed my face. I tossed my sleeping clothes and change it with an oversized loose shirt with shorts.

Ah, much better.

I went out in my room and saw Alexa and Matthew giggling while sitting on the sofa, binge-watching TV. Jake and Sandy are in the kitchen cooking some pancakes and making coffees for breakfast. Andrew is talking to someone on his phone and leaning at the door while Diane is grinning at her phone while eating an egg sandwich with a coffee at the side of her plate.

"Good morning, Francine! You're awake!" Diane shouted cheerfully and caused the others to look at me.

"Yeah, right." I said with a smile. "How's sleep, Matthew? I bet you and Alexa didn't let the bed to look nice last night."

"Of course not!" Jake laughed. "I heard some banging! And moaning! And cracking... And! Oh! And-"

"Shut up!" Matthew said while giggling. "France, don't believe him. We behaved," Matthew grinned. "We didn't let your pillows stain."

"You idiot!" I laughed.

"Oh my God! I was really drowning to sleep, did that really happen?" Jake said while pursing his lips to a surprised grin.

"Of course we didn't! Come on guys, I was really plastered last night. It was a crazy night and all I wanna do is go to bed and strangle myself to death." Matthew grumbled.

Sandy burst into laughter. "You've got to be kidding us!"

"It's true!" Alexa said while nibbling some pizza she reheat from last night. "I even pushed him hard and knocked him down because he invaded all the space on the bed. He's so annoying when he's drunk."

I laughed. "Okay, enough in persuading. Have you seen my phone? It's somewhere in here."

"It's here," Diane said. "I saw it on the coffee table awhile ago. There are so many missed calls and texts from an unknown number, do you expect someone to call you?"

I shrugged. "I don't know, I'll check it."

"Hey, who is it?" Diane muttered right after she sipped in her coffee.

"It's-it's Zach." I said.

"Oh, with 8 missed calls and several text messages. This guys must be into you." Diane winked and smiled showing her crystal white teeth making her innocently beautiful.

I narrowed my eyes and gazed at her. "You better stop assuming, he's just a friend and I-"

Zach is calling...
