Today is the most unexpected day because I'm going to meet Ford's sister. She's 18, blonde, extremely gorgeous and beautiful inside and out.

We've been together for almost two years because Ford introduced me to his family the time that we were dating and she's the one I always talked to almost everything and we often have bondings when it comes to make up, fashion and trendings.

When she knew that I and Ford broke up, she said she can't bear to see her brother date another girl and too attached to me to be attached to another "brother's girlfriend".

She's like a sister to me. Their elder sister-Vallerie, is already working and has her own house in Manhattan, that's why we barely meet at Ford's house.

Now, I got to go because that beautiful lady is waiting for me at the coffee shop. I sauntered to the door and clicked it open, I walked to the gate and grabbed my car
I hopped in and oh.

What the-

I put a palm on my face and sighed. "I forgot my stupid car keys. Ugh."

I went back to the house and sought for my car keys. I found it inside my drawer and went back to my car.

As I drove on my way, I turned on the radio to listen for music.

One: Don't pick up the phone
You know he's only callin' 'cause he's drunk and alone
Two: Don't let him in
You'll have to kick him out again
Three: Don't be his friend
You know you're gonna wake up in his bed in the morning
And if you're under him, you ain't gettin' over him 🎶

I dance waving my body to the beat of the music and appreciating the freaking message for my freaking feelings and celebrating for not being a fragile bitch.

I got new rules, I count 'em

After a thirty minutes drive, I finally got to the coffee shop. I parked my car and turned off the radio, and took my car keys with me. I hopped out of my car and took my clutch bag. I sauntered towards the coffee shop and I clearly see Brittney through the glass window. I pushed the front door and walked towards her table.

"Hey Brittney! How are you? I missed you!" I leaned forward to hug her.

Brittney slightly stood up and hugged me so tight. I sit to the opposite chair and a wide grin snapped on my face.

I really missed this girl!

"I'm good! I've been using the beauty products you recommended and I barely fixed my hair in a ponytail because you said it would just caused me split ends." She chuckled. "I ordered your favorite caramel presto black."

"Oh, you shouldn't have bothered," I smiled. "Thank you! It's been a year since we last met and I thought your number is not active anymore." I said, gazing at her beauty.

"You know, it's free to be stupid so I got myself into trouble. I went to my friend's party, I got tipsy and I lost my phone. Fortunately, I have a spare sim card that has all my important contacts." She giggled.

"Yeah, we have to be stupid sometimes," I laugh softly. "You're so beautiful, this is unfair! I loved how you did your eye make-up."

She smiled.

"It's Pat McGrath Labs Fetisheyes mascara, Ford gave it to me last Christmas

Ford...

"Oh, it's gorgeous on you." I smiled. "Hey, uhm... How are you? Tell me what happened to you—do you have a boyfriend now?"

"Yeah," she giggled. "We've been dating for six months—"

"His name is Clifford. We met at the party of my friend and you know the feeling when people stopped moving and everything went slow motion and all you can see is him, being so effortlessly hot and gorgeous while the stars and the lights are complementing his eyes. Oh God, in that very moment, I knew he would have my kids."

We both laughed and she held my right hand to carress

We both laughed and she held my right hand to carress.

"How about you? Do you have a boyfriend?" She asked, smiling.

"Uhm.. No, but I'm happy with my life." I smiled. "I met new friends, enjoying my life, keeping myself busy to the things I love to do and keeping the fabulous and wonderful sense in me, you know what I mean."

"Yeah, I know." She softly smiled. "You've got a lot of business to do because a popular girl like you can't be so lazy in replying those compliments, offers, endorsements, and emails from social media." She laughed. "I'm happy that you're happy."

"Thank you, sis." I smiled.

Brittney smiled. "Anyway, I want to invite you on my birthday!"

"Oh I almost forgot! Your birthday is on next week, uhm... Thursday, right?"

"Right! And it is going to be held at the CNVS Event Venue Midtown NYC, six in the evening. I'm expecting you to be there, France." She smiled.

"Oh..." I said, thinking and hesitating silently if I will go or decline it.

"France, I know you'll come," She smiled. "It's my special day—Plus! You can invite your friends as well. It's a big event venue and I can't make my party boring. I want people in it, and I'm willing to make friends in my party."

"Oh, uhm... Yes, of course I'll come! I can't missed out being without you on your most special day." I smiled.

"And oh, I almost forgot. It would be a masquerade party, wear something black, red or silver." She smiled.

I inhaled and exhaled. "Yeah, uhm... my friends and I will be there." I smiled and heaved a sigh.

"That's great! Thank you so much." She leaned for a kiss on my cheeks.

"Hey, I have to go, France. I still have an hour drive to the event venue, we're still working on the things needed for my party." She stood up. "I missed you and I'll see you next week!"

We both stood up and hugged each other.
I took the coffee she bought for me and walked out of the coffee shop. I went to my car and hopped in.

"Damn it! Ford will definitely be there." I muttered and hit the steering wheel subconsciously.

What the freaking wind blew in me to say yes to that party!
