This day is somehow quite a good start for being a sophomore. I had to mingle with other students and new transferees and my friendly grin is as effective as ever! I may be mean sometimes but I'm amicable, very outgoing and versatile too.
People never had a problem talking with me about anything. Plus, the fact that I don't believe in the quote 'I don't talk to strangers' stood high on my personality. Like how the hell would you buy stuffs in the market if you won't talk to the cashier? Taxi driver? Ice cream vendor? Just by that, you already talked to strangers, subconsciously.
While walking to the front lawn with my girls, Sky and his gorgeous teammates stepped in front of us. Andrew, Jake and Matthew are with them. I scowled, looking straightly at Sky's eyes with full hint of disgust.
"Hi, cupcake." Sky said while his hands were tucked in his varsity jacket.
"Sky," I said. "If you have nothing good to say, get out of the way."
"Nope." He stepped a little closer and now the students passing by are looking at us, peeping on what's going on. Of course they will stare at us, I rolled my eyes. Sky is now the new popular jock, plus his hot teammates are behind him. and we also belong to those well-known girls in our campus because of our fashion sense, school activities that we often join in, and best parties that were thrown by my very own pal, Brandon.
"Hi baby." Andrew smiled at Alexa and she blushed like a little kid. "I can't hug you, I'm sweaty."
"Hi, baby." Alexa took a step and tiptoed, hugging Andrew. "I don't care. Sweaty Andrew, is a hot Andrew." She chuckled.
"Awww." Sky made that sound like he's a homeless dog. "You know them, Andrew?"
"Yeah, we know them." Jake said, grinning at Sandy. I've noticed that they weren't the couple who show sweetness and love with each other and doesn't do PDAs like Alexa and Andrew. But who knows how clingy they are in private? Ha.
"Sandy is my girlfriend." Jake said, with that unmistakable glint in his eyes. "Alexa is Andrew's girlfriend."
"Oh, what a small world." Sky said, grinning. "How about you, Matthew?"
"I don't do relationships, bro." Matthew smirked. "You know what I mean."
"Yeah," Sky turned to look at me like I was his prey. "Me neither."
"How about the girl with a blonde hair," Directing his gaze to Diane, Blake spoke. He's Sky's teammate. He is one of those cool and hot guys in the basketball team, he slept with almost all the hot girls in this school and as a matter of fact, those girls are the ones who gush about how good he was in bed and of course, as expected, he was proud of it.
My girlfriends are hot, but not a bitch. So fortunately, Blake knows whom not to mess with.
"Scratch me out of the list, Blake." Diane spoke. "I'm not interested."
Blake lift a hand against his chest, feigning a hurt. "But why? Am I not into your standards?"
Diane scoffed. "There's a lot of food on the table, Blake. I don't like leftovers."
His teammates let out a woah and bars sounds in the air. I look at Diane and smiled at her, that smile that indicates a congratulation.
"I am not some bubblegum which you spit after chewing." Diane said. "I'm also not edible, like all the girls you've swallowed before." She said fiercely.
"Hmmm..." Blake taps his chin, pretending to think hardly. "Correction to that, I'm the one they swallow." He winked cockily and chuckled. "I'm a little thirsty, maybe you can ease my thirsty." He teased.
