-20 Years Later-

-No matter how many good deeds we do, the bad ones will always haunt us-

"Wait. Appa! Save her too! Don't leave her! Please"

Jungkook's eyes open with a startle. The same dream. He had the same dream for 20 years. He still couldn't understand what it was about. He tried asking his dad but they both said he must be tired.

'Tired'

He heard it for 20 years. He still couldn't understand who was 'her'.

Did he know someone? Did he have a sister maybe?. All he remembered was he got kidnapped and was locked in a dark room in an abandoned building. He remembered the stench. It was an awfully strong smell, something you would smell near the rubbish bins. He tried to remember what happened before the kidnapping but he couldn't. When he was awake, he was lying in the hospital and there were only faint scents of lavender. His mother's favourite scent.

He could remember everything except the kidnapping and what took place before the kidnapping.

'Childhood Amnesia,' the doctor told his parents.

Jungkooks head started hurting badly and he put his head into his hands and let out a huge sigh. He got out of bed and walked into the living room.

"Aria, what's the status reports on the weather today and is there any important meetings?"
he asked his robot that was on the table.

Jungkook might be having horrible dreams but his reality was great. He was the son of the chairman that owned the biggest hospitals in Korea and Jungkook owns his own business. It was called 'Daebok Group'. Jungkook was rich and wealthy. He was only 27 but he had already bought his own apartment fully furnished and was living alone well with Kim Tae Oh as well.

He moved out when he was 19 to start up his own business and it wasn't completely hard when your father owns many hospitals in Korea. He had many contacts but he put a lot of hard work into building his business. The only person who lived with him now was Kim Tae Oh.

Tae Oh was a former gang member that  Jungkook met on the street. He was 16 years old when Jungkook found him hacking into his father's hospitals to erase medical records. Jungkook caught him and gave him two options. One was to go to jail, the other was to stop gang work and work for him instead.

Tae Oh now handles security at the Daebok Group building and makes it impossible for thieves to enter unless they were a better hacker than him.

"It will be a rainy day today and downpour will be expected towards the evenings, you also have a meeting with the board of directors from Japan, and Lee Yu Mi is wondering when you will call her back. There are almost 30 voicemails from her," his robot answered.

"AH, When is that girl going to take a hint?" Jungkook said clearly frustrated

He walked into the dressing room and changed into his dark blue suit. He picked his favourite gold watch from an array of watches and wore it on his left wrist. His eyes flickered towards the bell bracelet on his left wrist. It didn't match his watch nor did it match his outfit and looked very childish but he could never take it off. It must have been his mother who had tied in on his hand as a gift but he could not remember most of his childhood anyway.

'TING'

It was his phone notification. He looked at it to see it was an update on security measures from his other company branch in Busan. They seemed to be having difficulties in managing the security there. Jungkook was going to send Tae Oh to see what the problem was.

"Tae Oh, go to Busan and meet the head of security over there. There are a few problems with the security in my company over there. Take a plane, not the car. Less time and less headache for me," Jungkook said while drinking a box of banana milk.

Tae Oh just looked at him and nodded.

Jungkook looked at Tae Oh up and down and let out a sigh. The boy was already 20 years old but he still dressed too casually. Tae Oh was wearing jeans, a white hoodie and his headphones hung around his neck. On one hand, he was holding orange juice and on the other, he was holding his Ipad probably to check out the latest security measures.

"Yah! KIM TAE OH! Please wear a suit when you land in Busan! Don't embarrass me!" Jungkook nagged.

Tae Oh just smirked at him and walked back to his room. Ever since Tae Oh stopped gang work and started working with Jungkook, he talked less but Jungkook couldn't complain because the security was always the best in the country. Tae Oh didn't have any parents or family that he knew so to Tae Oh, Jungkook is his place of comfort and peace.

To Jungkook, well at least he had someone to eat with. Jungkook never remembered being this stern. He was always the playful type as a kid but that accident changed him. Mentally and emotionally. He didn't know why but he had a certain hatred towards his father. He wasn't sure where all his love went. Why did it disappear? What made it disappear?

He felt useless. Like he was meant to protect someone but he didn't.

"Good morning President Jeon," Se jin said while opening the backseat car door and shutting it as soon as Jungkook was in.

Se Jin ahjussi used to work as the Jeon's Family bodyguard. He was one of the best but resigned to work as Jungkooks manager. Jungkook was happy that at least he had a part of his family still sticking with him. They reached in office in 10 minutes and Jungkook got down and the car drove off.

Se jin was talking to him about the meetings and handed him the Ipad that consisted of reviews and sales of their latest product. The reviews and sales were good but the marketing team was getting on his nerves. They were not selling the product right so there was a slight decline in sales compared to the previous one.

"Set up a meeting with the marketing team, Those people are really getting on my----"

He felt his Ipad fall out of his hand and someone bumped into his chest. He grabbed the person's hand to prevent them from falling.

"Can't you see where you're going?" Jungkook said half yelling

The person looked up into his eyes. She had black eyes. Her eyes were so black, he felt like he was being sucked in. He let go of her arm.

"Sorry! I'm so sorry!" she said while bowing and she rushed the opposite direction towards the registration desk. As she was walking he heard the sound.

The sound of the bell. The same sound his bracelet made. He turned back to look at her. Who was his girl?

"Your Ipad" Se Jin said while handing Jungkook back his Ipad.

Jungkook didn't understand why she felt so familiar.
