My mother is Dead

Jungkook was fast asleep beside Ji Eun who was now staring at him. She raised her left hand stroking his soft hair as he snored softly. He must have been tired. His left hand was resting on her knee and that was when she spotted it, the bracelet she gave him when they were young so he was there, he was with her but what happened and does he even remember?

"Secretary lee?" Jungkook asked groggily as he woke up from his nap, sleep still in his eyes. "Are you okay? Should I call the doctors?" 

"No, everything is fine Jungkook .. oppa," She said smiling.

Jungkook raised his left eyebrow and laughed as he leaned back onto the arm chair.

"Did that car accident do something to your brain too?" He asked in between the laughs

"No! When we were little, i used to call you that!" She blurted out 

Shit..

Jungkook stopped laughing and was now looking at her both weirdly and seriously.

"What do you mean? We never met before," Jungkook said in a stern voice, now standing up.

"We did , that bracelet , I was the one that tied it for you," She said desperately trying to prove her point as she pointed to the bracelet.

"This was a gift from my mum,"

"I remember meeting her too! Can I see her?" Ji Eun asked 

Jungkook's face was now red, not from embarrassment but from anger, "You can't!" He said sternly again

"Why not? Look, I know you don't believe me but maybe she will!"

"YOU CAN'T MEET HER CAUSE' SHE'S DEAD!" He finally yelled out

Silence filled the room and due to the closed windows, it wasn't leaving.

"OPPA!" Kim Tae Hee exclaimed as she walked through the door. "Your father is in the hospital! We have to go now!" She said worriedly

"My father?Why? Which hospital?"

"Busan Hospital! He was going there for some business but he had a heart attack on his way and is now transferred to the Busan Hospital!" 

Jungkook looked at Ji Eun, " The hospital bills are all paid for, Tae Oh will help you get discharged and bring you back home. We informed your mum so she'll be here soon. Call me ..for whatever," He mumbled the last part and left the room dashing outside

"What did you hit? A cow?" Tae Hee asked smugly

"A tree,"

"Is the tree okay?" 

Ji Eun looked down and winced as the pain shot up through her left side. 

"I'll get a doctor," Tae Hee said and went out 

In 10 minutes time, a doctor walked in to check her vitals before taking out a syringe and placing it in yellow liquid.

"What's that?" 

"Painkillers for the pain," He said in a soft voice and Ji Eun nodded her head.

The liquid was injected slowly into the IV bag and Ji Eun felt sleepy. Was it due to the painkillers? She sure can't feel pain anymore, all she felt was numbness. Wait! Why can't I move my body. Her eyes fluttered upwards in the dark searching for the doctor who was now staring at the window. 

"Ahhh, time sure does fly doesn't it miss lee ji eun. Well, shall we go back and pick up from where we left off?" He asked as he placed his hands roughly on her shoulders and looked her in the eye , he took another syringe and he slowly leaned in and whispered, "Sweet dreams," as the syringe was stabbed into her neck.

Sweet dreams indeed.
