Red Bean Porridge

Not all those who wander are lost

Tae Oh landed in Busan after an hour up in the sky. It was a short visit and he was going to return to Seoul on the same day. He checked his watch, it was currently 9.30 am.  As soon as he landed, he saw a man wearing a suit and holding a card that said his name. Jungkook Hyung had always arranged his transportation whenever he came to Busan and Tae Oh came to Busan quite a lot.

"Good morning Mr Kim," the man bowed and showed Tae Oh the way to the car. As soon as Tae Oh got settled in the back seat, the driver passed him the company's Ipad that consisted of the problems they were facing, security-wise. Tae Oh flipped through the slides and the cases of break-ins.

" I always placed high security in this company here the first time I visited, why does it keep crashing and failing," Was someone sabotaging the security system he created? No one from outside could do it unless it was an inside job." Seriously, this is the fifth time," Tae Oh whispered.

The car pulled up at the entrance of the company after a 30-minute drive. The driver quickly got down to open Tae Oh's door and handed Tae Oh his laptop bag.

"Please call me after you have completed the business here. I will send you back to the airport," the driver said

"Instead, could you give me the car?" Tae Oh asked looking at him

"Excuse me? You want to drive the car?" The driver asked shocked

"Yes, give me the car keys please,"

The driver passed him the keys and looked at him worriedly.

"I have a license, don't worry," Tae Oh said while taking the keys and walking into the building.

Jungkook Hyung made him take the license at 17. He wanted Tae Oh to drive himself around in case of emergency. Tae Oh could drive but he preferred motorcycles and that was why he had 3 of them at home.

" Mr Kim! I'm so glad you came. The security system has been acting up again and we don't know what happened,"  the lady asked. Miss Kim Sun Mi. Tae Oh knew her. She was always the one that greeted him and brought him down to their huge security department. She was quite smart and her tech skills were almost as good as him.

'Almost'

Tae Oh smiled at her and followed her to the department. He already knew his way around here because he's been here many times. 5 for business purposes and more than 10 times because Jungkook Hyung loved to drop by when they were on vacation.  The security department was and is always located at the lower ground floor. You would expect that was where the car park was but Jungkook Hyung turned the car park into the security system room so it wasn't easily accessible unless you worked there or was a visitor. Tae Oh has visited so many times that he finally attained his own car from Jungkook Hyung.

"Heres the panels and the CCTV of the company, please take a look at it while I bring you some coffee" Miss Kim Sun Mi said

"Is it okay if you brought me some banana milk instead?" he asked and received a nod from her. He still couldn't stand the bitterness of the coffee.

Tae Oh took off his headphones that were hanging around his neck and brought out his laptop. He checked the system and the database of the company only to find out that the security system has been hacked. The database of the company has been wiped clean. There weren't any records of partnerships, trades or latest projects. It was all gone.

"This is called a 'small' problem?" Tae oh yelled in frustration. This was a big problem. Whoever this hacker was, he most probably didn't like 'Daebok Group' nor Jungkook Hyung. This company was lucky though. Tae Oh had downloaded and made copies of their partnership and trades into his own laptop. That was one thing the hacker didn't understand. He could hack Daebok Group all he liked but he couldn't hack into Kim Tae Oh's laptop.
