Lee Ji Eun got to the office at the usual time but this time President Jeon was already in his office. Tae Oh had visited her numerous times but the last time she saw Jungkook was the night at the hospital. He genuinely cared about her and even drank with her. Jungkook looked at her and raised his eyebrow. Ji Eun snapped out of her staring and quickly went and hid behind her desk

"Secretary Lee?" Jungkook said while slamming the desk which made Ji Eun slightly jumped.

"Yes, sir?"

"How are you feeling?" Jungkook asked looking at her

"I'm alright! Fully recovered!" Ji Eun smiled

"Great, then grab your notebook and follow me. I'm sure my secretary is aware I have a meeting?" He said while walking to the elevator.

Ji Eun grabbed her bag and stood next to Jungkook. The elevator doors opened and he got in. Ji Eun suddenly remembered her awful accident and she just stared at the lift in fear.

"I'll take the stairs!"

"Don't be silly, the meeting is on the second floor. We are on the 14th floor if you hadn't notice,"

"I'm a fast walker, I'll be there in no ti--,"

Jungkook grabbed her by her hand and pulled her into the lift. The doors shut and they were descending down. Ji Eun started to fidget and her breathing was heavy. She was very close to a panic attack. She felt something on her hand and looked down briefly.

Jungkook was holding her hand rather tightly 

"Calm down. Just think of something else. You're okay," he said softly looking at her

She stared into his eyes and he stared back at her. 

4th floor...3rd floor...2nd FLOOR!

"What is going on here?"

Ji Eun jumped and turned her head

Standing in front of the lift was Lee Yu Mi staring at both Jungkook and her then her eyes scanned them and finally rested on their locking hands. Ji Eun quickly removed her hand but Jungkook was still holding on to it tightly.

"President Jeon!" she whispered frantically

"Let's go. The meeting is about to start," he dragged her out of the lift and pushed Yu Mi slightly causing her to lose her balance a little.

"STOP! OPPA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

Jungkook stopped dead in his tracks.

"Yu Mi, I have a meeting. What is your problem?"

"Why is that peasant following you and WHY ARE YOU HOLDING HER HAND?"

Jungkook looked at Lee Yu Mi in disbelief and he let go of Ji Eun's hand. He walked towards her

"One, she isn't a peasant, she's my secretary. Two, I had to calm her down and three you are not someone that should be bossing me around," He told Yu Mi in a calm stern voice.

"I am your fiancee!"

"We are not engaged and I am not doing anything to her to disrespect you so please mind your business and I will mind mine,"

Jungkook walked past Yu Mi and her before heading into the conference room.

"Stay away from him or you will regret being born," Yu Mi hissed at her before stomping off the opposite direction.
