Mercy? I have none of that

It took an hour and 30 minutes before the car finally pulled up at the orphanage. In front of the orphanage, there was a huge banner that read 'Welcome to Hope Orphanage'. Voices of children laughing and yelling could be heard loudly. It was noisy but somewhat peaceful at the same time.

Tae Oh looked outside from the backseat window and smiled slightly. It's home.

"How long will it take you?"

Tae Oh snapped back to reality

"Few hours. Why don't you come in Hyung? You don't have much work anyway and maybe you can cleanse your soul in the church nearby,"

"YAH Tae Joon!"

"Hyung, is your brain okay? Who is Tae Joon?"

"I said Tae Oh. Hurry, let's just enter this orphanage now," Ji Woo ushered Tae Oh out of the car and proceeded to walk in with him

Tae Oh ignored it and walked inside the orphanage and was greeted by an old lady, miss Ji-an. She was the one who took care of him all these years before he ran away from the orphanage.

"Annyeonghaseyeo miss Ji-an" Tae Oh said loudly so she could hear him

"Tae Oh? Is it Kim Tae Oh? She looked at him and started touching his face,"

Tae Oh took her hand gently and replied, "Yes, it's me. Did you miss me?"

"YOU NAUGHTY CHILD! HOW COULD YOU RUN FROM HERE? HOW ARE YOU LIVING NOW?" She pulled his ears

"Owwwww, mianhae, sorry! I'm working for a company now, Daebok Group!"

Kim Ji woo was looking back and forth at both of them grinning amusedly before his phone began to ring. He looked at the caller ID and turned around and walked outside from the comical duo to answer it.

Tae Oh was now seated in an office and was holding his ear in pain. Miss Ji-an may be old but she's still pretty strong. She brought out some hot cocoa for him and a cup of tea for herself. There were also some biscuits and snacks to munch on.

"Are you working for an illegal company?" She finally asked

"NO! I'm working for Daebok group and don't worry, it's very legal,"

"In Seoul?"

"Yes the company is in Seoul but I'm mainly based at Busan," Tae Oh smiled warmly at her

She shifted in her seat. " Did you find your mother yet?"

"No, it's difficult. I think she left the country," Tae Oh took a long sip of his hot cocoa until it burnt the roof of his mouth

"She didn't," Miss Ji-an said in a strict voice.

"What do you mean?" He almost spat out the cocoa in his mouth but thankfully swallowed it.

"She's here, in Korea,"

Tae Oh looked at the old lady. Was she speaking the truth? Could his mother really be in Korea?

"Where?"

Miss Ji-an looked at him

"WHERE?" Tae Oh's voice started to get higher and higher

"Somewhere you don't notice. She's there. She's watching you but you are not watching her. You don't notice anything," She hit the back of his head

"Owww! I don't even remember her name, how am I suppose to find her?"

"You will. Remember, she's where you are. Where you feel the most vulnerable, that's where she is. I can't tell you where she is because unfortunately, that man you came with is eavesdropping our conversation right now," She said very softly that Tae Oh had to lean in closer to hear her every word

"Man? It's just Bodyguard Kim. He's harmless as a butterfly!"

"Tae Joon ah... listen to me be careful!"

"Tae Joon?"

"Mianhae.. I must be getting old. My memory of your name is fading. Listen, Tae Oh, don't trust anyone. The ones that seem like your friends are actually your enemies,"

"Arrasso. I got it,"

"Apparently his mother is still alive Hyung. This shall be interesting," Kim Ji Woo said into the telephone while standing outside the office that the duo was in.

Mercy?

Trust?

Those words aren't in my dictionary.
