It was Saturday. Halloween was yesterday. Sophie was so exhausted from the day before, so she decided to sleep in and hang out in her bedroom while she processed what had happened.

After Sophie sent Biana to confess her crush to Keefe, she went over to talk to Linh and Tam. Sophie thought that it was best not to eavesdrop and watch what was going on with Biana and Keefe.

However, a few minutes after Sophie sent Biana to Keefe, Sophie heard running over the crowd and saw Biana running up the stairs. Sophie didn't know what to think of that, so she just left it alone. Plus, Biana didn't look that good.

The party then lasted a couple more hours and then everyone left. Biana still didn't come down, so Sophie decided to give her space and to just leave. But before Sophie left, she saw that Keefe looked a bit strange. He didn't talk as much as he usually did and at some points, his face looked guilty. Sophie also decided to leave it alone and to just go home.

Now that Sophie was in her room, she put the prices together and a horrible realization occurred to her.

How could she not notice from before?

It was obvious now. Something must have gone wrong when Biana confessed her crush to Keefe. But...that didn't make sense.

Who would turn down a Vacker?

Biana was a very likable person. Maybe something else upset her.

Sophie realized that she should go and talk to her brunette friend.

With that, Sophie quickly changed into a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. She pulled her hair back into a ponytail and slid on her shoes. She rushed a goodbye to her adopted parents as she rushed out of the door.

Sophie knocked on the big double doors. She could hear a clicking of heels coming closer from behind the doors.

A beautiful woman with chocolate brown hair and heart shaped lips answered the door. "Oh hello Sophie! What a surprise to see you here," Della said with a smile.

"Hi Della! I came here to see Biana," Sophie replied.

"Oh did something happen? She's been in her room all day."

"That's what I intend to find out."

Della smiled. "You're so sweet. Well come on in."

Sophie followed Della inside.

"She should still be upstairs. You know where her room is right?" Della asked.

"Yes, of course," Sophie said. Sure the house was huge, but Sophie had been here enough times to know where her best friend's room was. Sophie raced up the stairs, eager to talk to Biana.

Once Sophie got to her room, she knocked.

"I said, go away Fitz!" Biana called from the other side.

"Um it's Sophie."

"Oh."

When there was silence Sophie asked, "can I come in?"

Biana sighed, "yeah."

Sophie slowly opened the door to see Biana sitting in her bed with a miserable face.

At least she wasn't crying. That was good...right?

"Hey," Sophie started as she sat down next to Biana.

"Hey," Biana replied, still not looking at Sophie.

"Are you okay?"

Biana sighed. "I've been better."
