The next few days passed by quickly, mostly just Sophie glaring at Grady and buying Christmas gifts for her friends. Before Sophie knew it, Christmas had already come. Sophie couldn't believe how fast time had been, how it only felt like yesterday when Sophie first moved to Foxfire.
"Sophie! We are leaving to the Christmas party in an hour!" Grady called from downstairs. Sophie sighed as she grabbed her phone and texted Biana to come over.
She promised Biana that she could get her ready for the party. Sophie was not looking forward to it, but Biana made a threat to torture her so Sophie had to agree.
Sophie sighed as she got up to get dressed for the Vacker Christmas party. All of her friends were going to be there, including their families. Even Nick and Stina were coming.
Sophie wrinkled her nose when she held up the dress that Biana had bought for her just for this party. Biana had agreed to let Sophie get dressed on her own while Biana would do Sophie's hair and makeup. The dress definitely seemed way too fancy for her, but Biana insisted that she wore it.
Here's a picture of it:
Sophie had a difficult time trying to slip on the tight dress. She wasn't used to wearing this kid of stuff but Biana insisted that as a teen, she should get used to it.
When Sophie finally slipped it on, she looked herself in the mirror and immediately wrapped her arms around herself. She wasn't used to having her arms and back so exposed.
Maybe she could use some other dress...
Sophie then slid on her gold flats that matched with the gold necklace she also had.
Suddenly the doorbell rang. Sophie heard Grady greet Biana and then heard Biana running up the stairs.
Biana then burst into Sophie's room with a large bag full of supplies, without knocking. "I need to get you ready ASAP!!! Let's go!" Biana exclaimed, clapping her hands as she emptied the items from her bag. Bianas hair was curled and she wore an elegant teal dress that matched her eyes perfectly.
"Well hello to you to," Sophie grumbled.
Biana looked up and blew a strand of hair from her face. "Wow, that dress really suits you. And don't wrap your arms around yourself! It ruins the dress! You need to be more confident with yourself, there's no need to
self-conscious," Biana demanded, putting a hand on her hip."I am confident in myself!" Sophie defended.
Biana gave her a look. "All I'm saying is that you have to put yourself out there more. You'd be surprised at what can happen," Biana said with a wink.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Sophie asked.
"Nothing!" Biana sang. "Now we need to get your hair ready and your makeup!" Biana added, making Sophie sit on the seat in front of her mirror as Biana plugged in the curling iron. Sophie growled in protest.
