Alright, listen up everyone!" Biana called out to everyone who were lined up against the wall of her bedroom. "In a few minutes, we will be outside fighting our hearts out. I want effort and focus! Got it?" Everyone nodded.
"Now are we going to play nice?" Biana asked.
"Yes!" Linh exclaimed, taking a step forward.
"WRONG!" Biana yelled.
"Oh," Linh gasped, putting a hand over her mouth as she took a step back.
"We will throw snowballs at their faces and other unpleasant spots! We will attack and tear them down until every single one of them can't breathe! GOT IT?"
"YES!" Everyone shouted, suddenly scared of Biana.
"Who knew Biana could be so aggressive?" Keefe stage-whispered to everyone.
"YOU! Mop-head!" Biana yelled, pointing at Keefe. "20 push-ups!"
"I'm not a mop-head!" Keefe defended, putting a hand on his hair.
Biana's eye twitched as she stomped towards the closet in her room and grabbed a mop from inside.
"What are doing?" Keefe asked, trying to back up but ended up running into the wall.
Biana then raised the long mop into the air and started to stomp towards Keefe.
"OKAY! OKAY! I'll do the push-ups!" Keefe shouted, putting his hands up in surrender and then quickly got down to do his push-ups.
"Yeah that's right," Biana said, glaring at Keefe while he huffed and puffed. Biana then twirled the mop in the air and set in down next to her as she eyed everyone else, daring them to say anything or interrupt her.
"Hmf! Alright, everyone knows the game plan?" Biana asked. "Sophie, Nick, and Keefe will be the distracters since they are the fastest runners. You guys will try to lure out the adults. Stina, Fitz, and I will be the throwers since we have good aim and we can attack people. Linh and Dex will be working to make the snowballs and to supply us. And finally, Tam and Marella will be the spies. Any questions?"
"Um what do the spies do?" Tam asked.
"You and Marella will sneak around and figure out where the adults are hiding, when they are attacking, what they are doing, and then you guys report to us. And you guys cannot be seen. If they catch you, they will take you down and you will be out," Biana explained. "Do you think you two can handle that?"
"Oh yes, I'm the master at this," Tam said, grinning.
"Yeah, I'm good at this too!" Marella said.
"Good. Now I did overhear the adults earlier and I heard that Grady is their spy because he claims to be some ninja?" Biana said.
Tam, Keefe, and Sophie shared a look. "Yeah, that's just him thinking he's apart of some Deadly Night Monkey group," Sophie explained, remembering all the times he pretended to be a ninja and miserably failed.
"I don't know, just watch out for him but I don't think he's much of a threat," Biana said.
"He's not, trust me," Sophie said, shuddering.
"Okay, then I think we are good to go," Biana said. "And remember. This is a matter of life or death. We don't back down until we tear them down limb by limb and smash their faces! LET'S GO AND KICK SOME BUTT!"
"YEAH!" Everyone yelled out, pumping their fists in the air as they made their way outside.
Once they put their coats and gloves on and made it outside, they saw that the adults were already waiting for them.
The adults included Alden, Della, Grady, Dex's parents, Marella's parents, and Nick and Stina's parents. Sophie had met Dex's, Marella's, and Nick and Stina's parents at the Christmas party. She learned that Dex's parents were named Kesler and Juline Dizznee. Marella's parents were named Trix and Caprise Redek, and Nick and Stina's parents were named Timkin and Vika Heks."Well, it's about time you arrived," Grady said, crossing his arms.
"Yeah," Biana said, sizing Grady up.
The adults chuckled amongst themselves. "You guys are so gonna be dead," Trix said.
"And my son will be the first to be out," a man grumbled behind the parents.
Sophie and her friends jumped in surprise when they realized that Keefe's dad, Cassius, was also there. And there was a woman next to Cassius who must have been Keefe's mom.
"What are you guys doing here?" Keefe grumbled, annoyed.
"We invited Cassius and Gisela since they are your parents," Alden told Keefe.
"Aww so we can have more bonding time?" Keefe said sarcastically.
"There shall be no such bonding," Cassius said, narrowing his eyes at Keefe.
Gisela laughed. "I should've known you two would be at it already."
"Oh, if it isn't mommy dearest," Keefe said, glaring at his mom. Gisela then clicked her tongue.
"Okaaaay, why don't we start the game?" Fitz asked.
"Yes, we shall," Alden said, already eyeing his son.
"Remember the rules. Both teams will be given three minutes to head to their bases and prepare. You'll know when the three minutes are up because you will hear the beeping of the alarm we will set. The adults' base is at the shed and the kids' base is at the gazebo. You cannot go inside while you are in the game. If you get hit with a snowball, you are out. You cannot help your teammates at all when you are out and you have to then wait inside and watch the rest of the game from there. The game ends when one team has got everyone out from the other team," Della explained. "Any questions?"
Everyone shook their heads. "Alright, team captains get in the center!" Alden called.
Biana and Della then made it to the center where they moved in a circle and stared each other down like some cowboy showdown. "May the best team win," Della said, rubbing her hands together.
"Which is us!" Biana said, glaring at her mom and putting a hand on her hip. Biana and Della then shook hands.
"The game officially starts now!" Kesler called out.
And with that, everyone scurried off to their bases to start what might be world war three.
Ha ha sorry for leaving you all on that cliffhanger but I promise tomorrow's update on the actual snowball fight will be epic! Can't wait till then! Bye💖
