Hey guys! So obviously I changed the cover to the fourth option and as you can tell, I made it a bit more pink! Now it was so hard to choose between the covers so every month I'll switch off with the covers I made! For now we have the one I picked.
And remember! If you need a cover for your story, check out my cover shop!!!
Now onto the chapter!! Enjoy 😉
"Shut up!" Everyone hissed at Grady as he knocked over another flower pot.
"I'm trying!" Grady hissed back. "It's not my fault that there is a flower pot in the middle of nowhere!" Everyone rolled their eyes.
"So much for you being a ninja," Sophie muttered.
"Hey! I have good ninja moves!" Grady growled as he kicked his leg out and knocked over another flower pot, causing it to crack.
"HOW DID THAT FLOWER POT EVEN GET THERE?" Grady shrieked, hurriedly trying to put the pieces back together.
"Are you sure it was a good idea to bring Grady along?" Tam growled at Mr. Forkle.
"Yes Mr. Tam. He's an adult and we need him," Mr. Forkle replied.
"You sure about that, Forkle man? Last time we were in the woods, Grady used you as a distraction for the witch in that cabin," Keefe pointed out.
"Oh yes I remember that very well," Mr. Forkle said as he narrowed his eyes at Grady.
Grady, however, didn't notice because he was too busy kicking a tree and hissing, "this wasn't here a second ago!"
"Hmm, on second thought, it was a mistake to bring him," Mr. Forkle muttered.
Sophie sighed as she took the moment to look around. Indeed, they were in the middle of the woods and it was bringing terrible flashbacks from last time.
They they failed and almost died...
Sophie shut that thought down and continued to tell herself that things would be different this time.
After about an hour of walking, Sophie's feet started to ache and she felt herself get sweaty.
It definitely didn't help when Keefe came over, wrapped his arm around Sophie's shoulders, and put his full weight on her. "Ugh! Keefe, what are you doing?" Sophie asked, trying to shrug Keefe off.
"Aww Foster! My feet are sooooo tired!" Keefe complained, snuggling his head against Sophie's shoulder and dragging his feet.
Secretly, she felt some weird twirl in her stomach and scolded herself. "Ugh Keefe! Stop it! Why do you have to lean on me?"
"Because! Foster makes everything better!" Keefe said. Sophie felt strange tingles where Keefe was making contact with her and she felt her face heating up. She had to get him away!
Think quick!
"Ugh Keefe! Lean on Tam instead!" Sophie complained, pointing at Tam who was ahead.
"Absolutely not!" Tam barked, sending a death glare that made Sophie shiver.
"Maybe I should take another picture of you two!" Tan growled, already taking his phone out.Ugh no! Not like Thanksgiving!
"No!" Sophie shrieked, trying to shove Keefe away but it was too late. Tam already took a picture and was smirking.
"Think better next time before you suggest something!" Tam snapped as he put his phone away.
Great, now he had two pictures.
