Nakangiti lang si Carol habang pinagmamasdan ang paligid.. Nagulat siya kasi first time lamang nila ginawa ito sa kanya... Napaiyak si Carol ng bahagya... Lumapit siya at niyakap sina Hector at Irish...
Medyo asiwa pa si Irish... Oo.. Maraming beses na siya niyakap ni Carol mula bata pa ito.. Pero ngayon tila may naramdaman siya... Nagulat siya nang makita niya na lamang na niyayakap niya rin si Carol.. Masarap ang pakiramdam ni Irish at sa kanyang pakiramdam.. Parang niyayakap niya si Carol bilang kanyang tunay na anak..
Carol: Salamat po sainyo!
Hector: Ang mommy mo ang nakaisip nito..
Carol: Talaga po? Salamat mommy..
Muling niyakap ni Carol si Irish..
Irish: Ahmm.. Kasi diba valedictorian ka.. Ahmmmm soo... Kelangan mag celebrate tayo tama?? Osya kain na tayo...
Kumain sila kasama ang mga kasambahay.. Ang mga hardinero, at driver nila.
Hector: Carol.. Basahin mo na ang Valedictory Address mo sa harap namin..
Kinuha ni Carol ang kanyang papel sa kanyang kwarto at binasa ito sa kanilang harapan..

To our honorable guest speaker, Mayor Sandra De Guzman; our Chief Executive Mentor, Dr. Rose Tan; School President, Dr. David Ramirez, members of the management, distinguished guests, faculty and staff, our dear parents, fellow graduates, friends, ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon.
According to Catherine Pulsifer... "Graduation is a time of completion, of finishing, of an ending, however, it is also a time of celebration of achievement and a beginning for the new graduate." our journey does not end here.. We will face a new chapter in our lives and that's where the real challenge begin..
My life as a highschooler wasn't easy.. There are times I got low scores.. I got high scores but all of these are just numbers...to me what's important is my experience.. Experience to learn.. Experience to achieve.. Experience to explore extra curricular activities...

Carol:.... Experience to be loved by my family and friends.. And especially the experience to acquire skills and knowledge.. And that's what I value the more.. Attaining the title valedictorian is never a competition for me.. I was not pressured by my family and friends it's just my passion to learn, to study and to make my parents proud. And they are always proud of me and that's more than enough.. This title of being a Valedictorian is just an extra blessing from God... From what I learned during High school the important thing is love.. Passion, humility and honesty and that's what learning should be
To all my teachers.. To our adviser.. To all of my classmates.. I thank you all for being with me thru my journey in High school. I thank my best friends.. Jadie Manalastas And Bea Castro.. My other close friends.. Melissa, Hannah, Joy and.... Harold... Thank you... And of course to my ever loving family who supported me and my yaya who helped me thru my heartaches........ And mommy? Yes... Mommy Irish I thank you for being there by my side together with daddy...
