Rayne has been in La Push for two days, she's at Sam and Emily's right now. She and Emily are baking carrot muffins and vanilla cupcakes. They're putting a light blue and cotton candy pink frosting on the cupcakes. Rayne was craving something sweet.
The pack are out patrolling. Rayne talked to Alana, Alice saw Victoria in Forks. So they're probably chasing her and if Victoria is being chased, Rayne knows it won't be long until the pack joins in on that. The siren knows how Paul gets about vampires. He can't stand them, like how Rosalie can't stand the pack. Leah Clearwater has Paul's viewpoint, she can't stand the Cullens, though. Paul tolerates the Cullens for Rayne's sake, Leah doesn't care.
Rayne scores Seth Clearwater, Leah's little brother. He had a major crush on Rayne, he knows she's a lesbian and he doesn't stand a chance but he thinks she's very pretty. He will start blushing every time he sees her and Rayne finds it adorable. She and Jared teach him.
She's grown a friendship with Jared over the past few months. He's grown pretty protective over her and he's now like that annoying big brother. Paul is the best friend and Jared is like the brother.
Rayne sighs. "Knowing my family history, I could have this baby anytime next month even though I'm do in July."
"Premature labor is common in your family?" Emits asks and Rayne nods. "Mine, too."
Rayne grabs Emily's hand and she lets her feel Charles move again. Emily smiles widely as Seth walks in. The boy's face turns red as soon as he sees Rayne.
"Hey, Rayne!" Seth chirps, trying to brush the nervousness away.
"Oh, my Sethling," Rayne muses kisses his cheek.
Seth's face turns even redder. "Rayne....."
She smirks before due goes into the living room, making Emily laugh before she teases Seth about his crush. His crush is adorable.
"We're making cupcakes and muffins," Rayne tells the youngest pack member. "Sound good?"
"What kind?" Seth asks as he sits on the couch with Rayne.
"Carrot muffins and vanilla cupcakes," Rayne informs him. "The baby wants sweets."
Sam comes running in. "Victoria is om the run. Rayne, wanna ride?"
Rayne nods quickly and she rushes out. Jared lays down enough for the pregnant female to climb on, with Sam's help. Sam phases and the pack takes off running through the trees, Rayne has a tight grip on Jared's fur.
A blur of red is seen and Sam growls. The wolves make it behind Victoria as the Cullens chase her om the other side of the river. Rosalie had seen Rayne and grew even more mad at her. She doesn't need to get out in this.
Victoria jumps land and the Cullens fun on their side as Paul gains speed along with Sam and Jared. Rayne's trio rightens onto Jared's fur as Victoria jumps the boarder once again.
This time when Victoria jumps the land, Emmett is so caught up in the chase, he jumps too and Paul snaps at him. Rayne hides her face in Jared's fur and she's nudged. She looks over and sees Jacob. She smiles.
"I'm okay, Jake," Rayne whispers as Emmett stands up in the water, his gray shirt soaked and showing his abs.
The russet colored wolf nods and he looks across the treaty as Charles moves.
